Hi and welcome to this episode of Assassin's Sips. Today we're talking about good girls, season two, episode five. Everything must go. She's mimicking me. I'm Lisa and I'm sipping on just a little of the white wine actually because I realized there's a tragedy and I have no more red in my house. I even went down to the basement. So I found a bottle of white in my fridge and it's like some weasling. I don't know. It's okay. It's fine. It's not red, but it's fine. It'll do.
SPEAKER_01You're doing better than I am, because I'm Agnes and I am sipping on iced coffee. That's it. You ready? Yes. Hot takes?
SPEAKER_00Heat. Like I realized. I realized. And this is so not gonna be like something to say, right? That I probably shouldn't say out loud. But watching this episode is kind of like, well, I guess I get why people do things they shouldn't do when they're in relationships. Because watching some of those tiny little interactions, it's like sparks. And you just when when you're in a relationship with someone, you don't do those things anymore. Handhold like touching on somebody's hand, you just grab their hand or you jump on them. Like there's no there's no dating after a while.
SPEAKER_01There's there's big part. I don't mean like actual dating.
SPEAKER_00I mean like it's not even the dating. It's it's the will he, won't he? That's what I mean by saying dating.
SPEAKER_01I mean like the whole aspect of dating. Like you're meeting somebody, you get to know each other, you're touching.
SPEAKER_00I know, but in this situation, like, okay, so when we left off last time, it was like, well, I was kind of like, well, did they or didn't they? You know, because it could have been a flashback.
SPEAKER_01Um, I mean, not a flashback, it could have been a flashback. A fantasy, sorry. A fantasy.
SPEAKER_00So watching it now, it's like, okay, you know what? Let let the cat out of the bag. They did.
SPEAKER_01So it's not But she still didn't say that they actually did or not, though. Kind of sort of.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. She does, but she doesn't. Right, right, right. But so my and my so my thing is like they've already they've already had their encounter, right? So obviously they're into each other. So it's kind of that secret when or how or do we do more? Like how do you know what I mean? So it's kind of that in plain sight hiding that does kind of add a little, like it's it's kind of like when, you know, Alex and I will make like an inside joke. Like you know, and we're in front of people, right? And like we know what it means and nobody else does, and it's kind of like that's hot, you know? Yeah. So I'm I'm just saying, like, I get it. I really get it. And it's just that little, you know, if if anybody else touched your hand, it wouldn't be anything. But knowing that secret that you guys have, I can see how it's hot. I'm starting to have more secrets than you within. Okay, well, I guess I'm gonna need more secrets in my life. More secrets together. Somebody give me some secrets. Send me some.
SPEAKER_01No, that's it. No, no, no, no, I know, I know, I know, I know. I'm like scratching my head.
SPEAKER_00I'm like, did I no I know. I don't know. Okay. I mean, I have other shit that we can talk about, but that that was my hot take.
SPEAKER_01Like, she's been dying. Like, I said any hot takes and have like she was like, you could see the kinetic energy just bouncing off of her. I was like rubbing my hands together like a villain. And I'm petting my cat, literally petting Simon.
SPEAKER_00Uh, I was gonna say, because that could be a euphemism.
SPEAKER_01That's why I had to say, yeah, because forget who we are and who's listening to us. So it always goes to the dirty stuff.
SPEAKER_02Because that's who we are, and that's who our listeners are, and we love you for it.
SPEAKER_01They get us, they get us. That's why it's like 10 of them. Um, because the rest of the world's like these just are crazy. So this episode opens with Stan. Can I tell you real quick? Stan and Ruby, that's relationship goals.
SPEAKER_00I have that also. Okay. Stan of the episode or die. Love this, not in terms necessarily of murder, but just the unwavering love and support. He's like, tell me again, tell me again, let's go through it again, let's do it again. You know, and just the simple fact that she's like, okay, I'm in trouble. This is what I did. And he's like, I got you. Let's work this out together. Literally staying up all night to support his wife. Who fucking does that anymore?
SPEAKER_01They don't want to even get you a cup of coffee in the morning. Never mind, help you get away with the crime.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I'm I might may or may not be having pancakes made for being my mind. Well, don't run that. But it could also be a Maya making pancakes. So, you know, one never knows. Okay, but still, don't rub that in either.
SPEAKER_01Although one time when Krista, not one time, when Krista was pregnant with Axel, she was definitely in her nesting mode and she would cook and she made some fabulous meals. I'm like, this is amazing. I like nice Krista. Like she was nice when she's pregnant.
SPEAKER_00Because if my husband stays up all night with me, it's not because we need to talk something through. I don't need to know.
SPEAKER_01Don't rub it in. Don't rub it in.
SPEAKER_00Don't rub it in, don't stick it in, don't rub it in. There's words, but not a lot of talking. Um, so that was the first scene. Yeah, he's like making her walk through every single aspect of the body disposal.
SPEAKER_01She goes, I think the last time when he says, Tell me again, he goes, Well, the kids are gonna be up. So he gets up, grabs his coat. She's like, Where are you going? I think she's afraid that, oh my god, my husband's gonna leave me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And he's like, We're gonna go get ahead of it. And I'm just like, oh, love, love, just radiates from those two. The next thing is Beth, and she's in bed. She can't, you know, everyone's up. And she goes into the drawer that every woman has on our nice stand.
SPEAKER_00Her little battery-operated buddy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Okay, anyways, at a moment. Um, my moment though, is her fantasy is this crazy motherfucker breaking shit in her room and just being dangerous. So we don't have to trait words. No, just breaking shit and looking dangerous. So that's her toxic trait. And I'm and I Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And it's it's kind of even more than that because she's laying there, and obviously he's not there, it's a fantasy. But they're staring at each other. They're their eye contact is on point. They've locked eyes. Well, the fake eye contact. Well, yes, but but that's part of the fantasy, you know. And so it's him looking at her as he's you know, got his um tire iron and just breaking shit. And I realized that, you know, sometimes, you know, and this goes back to the whole like hand touch and whatever, but for me, I like words. You know, there's but there's a fine line between too many words and not enough words.
SPEAKER_01And sometimes No words is better.
SPEAKER_00No words is a fucking turn on, but sh but obviously like it can't be like, okay, well, you didn't text me any all day, so there's no words. Like, no, no, no, no, no, no. You gotta be in person. You don't you can you can communicate without words if you're in person, but sometimes when you're not in person, it's the words that create the intimacy. And I don't know if I'm the only person, I feel like I can't be the only person who feels like that. But words can be such a fucking turn on. But in this case, it's like all he had to do was hold that eye contact. And she was like, she was melting.
SPEAKER_01I mean, you know, and I get it, I get it. I just had a just had a I've just had my own little dreams, um, my little flashbacks. And then of course, as always, takes your husband to come ruin your wet dream. The fuck. I feel like that's like everyone's like and I'm pretty sure everyone was like, Yep, we've all been there. Um, no one knows the fucking egg to milk ratio. There is no egg to milk ratio when making French toast. You did like she said, you eyeball it. And prime example of weaponized incompetence, and I hated him at that moment, like no other. I think I hated him more for that moment than I did for the cheating and the fake cancer. And I back to the fake cancer. Like, did the writers forget about that?
SPEAKER_00But the thing is, right, I didn't I didn't necessarily hate him. It's kind of like, oh my god, like really, but at the same time, he's never done this. And whether he's never done it because he's never decided, let me step up and make my kids breakfast, or he's never done it because he's never Googled how do you make fucking French toast, or he's never done it because she's always been like, I got this, he's never done it. So the first time, and you're saying, okay, I want to do this, but I need help, I get it. Now, if every morning he's like, What's the ratio? Okay, Dean.
SPEAKER_01Well, the fact that she said, I got it, and the way he responded is like he expected that. So it wasn't like I need help, help me help you. It was, oh, I can't do this. I got it. Okay, great. Like he expected that response anyway.
SPEAKER_00But I feel like it's because that has been the precedent where he whatever, you know, he he just kind of whatever, and she just picks up the slack. But do you think she picks up the slack because she loves to or because he's not gonna do it? Well, it doesn't matter. I'm just saying, but it's it's it's and it doesn't matter because she's not saying, no, you figure it out.
SPEAKER_01No, get that. But this is why I like this isn't I kind of hated him because it's 99% chance that it's not his first time of using that. Like, I don't know how to do something. And eventually, like, you know what? Fuck you, get like, you know what I mean? So this is not the first time he played that that that what's the ratio? How did you do the fuck you, fuck your egg to milk ratio? And then I feel if you're going to play that card, you should at least do what you do correctly. And he's not doing that correctly either.
SPEAKER_00Well, that's true. So like the reason I'm not gonna do that. Is that I, you know, I don't a hundred percent put the fault on him, is because I saw a lot of myself in that instant where I've done that so many times. Just I'll do it. I'll do it because it's easier than taking the time and being like, no, no, no, you have to figure it out. I can't do this or that or whatever. And not just, you know, in in a relationship, but you know what I mean? So I I understand that sometimes it comes from the lack of us letting them letting others and us always trying to be the one who's like it's okay, I'll just do it. And and so I'm seeing like I was seeing it from that sense. So I I maybe that's why I have a different perspective.
SPEAKER_01I think both can be true. Yeah. I could still hate him for being a buss and still take ownership of Beth's part in that. Because both could be true. He's just the type that's like it's always somebody else. Yeah. It's you know, 9-11, the housing market. It's always something, the wildfires in California. Benghazi. I so I think it's like a combination. Just keep adding shit. You're like, you know what? Uh yeah, no.
SPEAKER_00Of course, there's a breaking point.
SPEAKER_01You can and my breaking point hit um season two, episode five.
SPEAKER_00Is this episode five? What's up? Oh, yeah, episode five. I just said that too. Did you? Did you, Annie?
SPEAKER_01Um who am I? What? Who? Yeah. This is the end of the episode. See you next week, guys. Um Annie being Annie, being, she's really a good mom. Like, she has a great relationship with Sadie. Um, and her waking her up is something I would do to Krista, and Krista would just look at me.
SPEAKER_00She would not react that way.
SPEAKER_01She would not, she wouldn't even respond with the sarcasm. She would just be like, get away from me.
SPEAKER_00Why are you in my bed? Get out of here.
SPEAKER_01Why are you in my house at this point?
SPEAKER_00I'm like, oh. Maybe one of my kids might react the way Sadie reacted. Maybe.
SPEAKER_01Maybe.
SPEAKER_00And the other two? No, yeah. The oldest one, she'd be like, get out of my room. I don't know why you're in here. Get get out, get out. Like, don't come. She's she's like my feral cat.
SPEAKER_01Oh, she's oh, she's so she's you. Okay.
SPEAKER_00A little bit. I'm not that nasty. Well, at least I wasn't when I was that age, but um, and the little one, I think she would just be all types of confused. Like, what is going on? What?
SPEAKER_01Am I in trouble? She's like, You're gonna miss this when you're going away to college. She's like, exactly why I'm going away. I think it's just cute. They're like the relationship.
SPEAKER_00She, I was, I was letting her play with my hair yesterday because she wants to learn how to do like French braids. And I had to wash it last night anyway, so she was like playing with it. I was like, oh my god, I feel so good. And she was like, Okay, I'll keep playing with it. And she, and we have one of those things that they do this, you know, the like, yeah. I forgot what you I don't know what you call it, but yeah. I laid there listening or like, what? You know, like that that that metal thing that you know it looks like it looks like a whisk. Yeah, the head whisk. I call it the hair whisk. Yeah, the scope whisk. Yeah, I love that. And she must have like just done that, like while we were watching TV on the couch for at least an hour, and I was like falling asleep. And she's like a kid to do that for you for an hour. I don't know, I don't even know. And I was like, You are like the best at this. And she was like, Thank you.
SPEAKER_01Just this this is a little spoiler alert for maybe the younger people listening, maybe. I till I couldn't still like have moments where I want to sleep in bed with my mom and cuddle.
SPEAKER_00Okay. So my kids, yeah, my kids won't do that really.
SPEAKER_01Oh, come back. It will eventually. And then actually, Krista will lay on my bed sometimes. Like, I have like if I have the boys and they're we're all in bed, she'll just come in, like, because she wakes up at the crack of dawn to come get her kids because she misses them. I was like, this is nice. Um, she'll just get in the bed. She won't cuddle with me. You know, she'll cuddle with her kids, but it's still nice to have my brat have all my babies in the bed with me. Sadie says that um, just like I think dad, no, she knows that's the thing.
SPEAKER_00She's gonna spend time there. But she doesn't, well, she doesn't want to go there. That's what it was. She didn't want to go because Nancy is whatever.
SPEAKER_01She was like, well, dad cheated on Nancy. And she makes it quite clear her thoughts on her dad and whoever she cheated on with, because all she knows is a a friend of theirs.
SPEAKER_00I don't know how she knows this though. Like, why does this kid know that that's what's going on?
SPEAKER_01First of all, well, listen, kids hear things we don't think they hear. Let's be honest. Like, you're in the house and you're arguing, you forget that your kids are there.
SPEAKER_00I guess, yeah.
SPEAKER_01And then that, say he's not stupid. She's a very smart, so like, how many times are you like, oh, our kids, our kids don't know we're getting divorced? Meanwhile, the kids are like, can you hurry up and divorce?
SPEAKER_00I know who your lawyer is and how much you pay him. Right.
SPEAKER_01So, you know, of course, Annie was like, okay, gotta go to school, bye, get out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because she's like the per like, he's he's a dick, and the person he cheated with is like the king of the dicks.
SPEAKER_01They're all dicks, and she's like, okay, gotta go bye. Exit stage left. Ruby calls Annie, and then next you know, they're the next thing they're in Best Kitchen that um stance says that there's a witness. And they're like, well, it could be anything. Somebody saw somebody do something. And I was just like, that has those exact words have got a lot of people convicted. Who didn't do anything. I saw someone that looked like you, that might have been in the area, that looked like they might have been doing something. And then the jury's like, guilty. You're like, um, what? And they're like, well, only three of only these three bitches know. And I'm thinking, I know you would think, I thought about you. And I'm like, As soon as they said there was a witness. I was obviously. I mean, us three bitches know. I'm like, Lisa, and I'm like, Lisa would beg to differ.
SPEAKER_00I mean, granted, we s we already saw her in the last episode, kind of whatever, like fuck up.
SPEAKER_01I still thought she could have got out of that. Of course she could have. Right after they talk about they don't say her name, but then we all know who they're talking about. It goes to the next scene where it's quite obvious, where Mary Patted her four kids, three of them are terrorists, and the little one, there's no hope for you, boo.
SPEAKER_00I mean, the other one is an infant. So, like, you know, but look at the three older ones.
SPEAKER_01Right. There's no hope, you know.
SPEAKER_00Well, if you put on Nick Jr. giving potato chips, they seem to be doing just fine. Right.
SPEAKER_01But so they walk in and they have protective custody, and she's like, This is too small. This is like, but I she wasn't doing it. I get as a mother with these three badass kids and infant, like I know, and like not even a crib. Not even a crib, like what the hell am I supposed to do with?
SPEAKER_00Right. It's one thing to be like, oh, this is too small. Okay, you know what? Whatever. But she has an infant. You gotta give her a play pen, a crib, something.
SPEAKER_01But I even but back to the too small, it's one room.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01With three kids, three like rambunctious kids, herself. That's small. Listen.
SPEAKER_00That's a breakdown in the making.
SPEAKER_01And you that and then later on you see her face and she's just like, I want to kill myself. Yeah. They've given.
SPEAKER_00I mean you should, but okay.
SPEAKER_01They've given, I've like, maybe I'm sure they've given like snitches better accommodations.
SPEAKER_00Well, snitches probably also don't come with a family, you know.
SPEAKER_01So But they probably get big accommodations, though.
SPEAKER_00You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01So they're in this one room, literally, like I think my living room is bigger than this hotel room.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's like a discount hotel room kind of.
SPEAKER_01Now listen, I've traveled a lot. Never. But also I I would never. But um, that's just beyond small. I've I've I've I've been in like I feel like that was beyond small. I've seen like on TV, I think like the pay-per-hour rooms were bigger than that. I've imagined that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, even okay, but even that first hotel that we stayed at at Podfest wasn't much better than that room that she had.
SPEAKER_01At least it had two beds, though.
SPEAKER_00Didn't that room have two beds?
SPEAKER_01No, plus one bed.
SPEAKER_00Oh, all right.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, okay. I'm like, I've had pay-per-hour rooms that were better than that. So Mary Pat's giving her statement again, and because of the kid okay, this is funny. So they're trying to be circumspect, but they're spelling the easy words, like I know ran O V E R. Like. M-A-P-R-C-H-S B-O-D-Y. Like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_00She's trying to spell daddy. It's like M-A-S-S. He goes like A-S-E. She's like, I know how to spell X. Yeah, he's like, Mashi. She's like, no, you know, like S-W-O-R-D. And he's like, A-X-E?
SPEAKER_01She's like, I know how to spell A-X-E. And then she's like, but she spells Rwanda. And then from there he goes, oh.
SPEAKER_00But she spelled Rwanda wrong. Right. There's no first A. It's like machete.
SPEAKER_01Machete. And she's like, shh. But then I'm like, where the fuck would they get a fucking machete? Yeah, really. Like, she know, like, he knows he's looking for Beth and her friends, a suburban mom. So he knows that he doesn't think it's a gang. So why would you say sh machete? Like, where the fuck would they get a machete from?
SPEAKER_00But you know that they just came from their job in the sugar cane field, chopping shit down. So they already had it on their hip, you know, as one does in Detroit or Michigan.
SPEAKER_01As soon as she said they didn't put the machete, that should have been he's like, okay, this bitch is crazy. This bitch is lying. But he's so gung-ho by getting her, he doesn't even care at this point.
SPEAKER_00No, but that scene was hilarious. Like all the fucking spelling.
SPEAKER_01And she actually started off with M-A-S. So why does he get Axe and Cleaver from M-A-S? She started off with M-A. I'm like, yeah, because he was like Mashi. And I actually I kind of want to watch Machette Kills again. That was a good you didn't see that, did you? Never even heard of it. It was with um Daddy Trujillo and Jessica Alba. It's a crappy movie. Yeah. But it's such it's good. It's like intentionally supposed to be like campy.
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_01And I was just like, oh, I want to see that again. It's like bloody and gory and funny at the same time. Okay. I think we it's a good bedtime movie.
SPEAKER_00Okay. So um the girls. I mean, you know, you like blood and gore before bed. I like other things before bed, you know, to each his own.
SPEAKER_01I'm not getting that though, so I'll take what I can get. So the ladies decided to go to their residential um gang leader for help. Because everyone has a neighborhood gang leader that they they go to for help. My mother may or may not been that person. But anyway, um, so they asked like we wanted to go away without it going away. Like, we would solve the problem with the bad egg without making the bad egg go away. And Annie was like, or not.
SPEAKER_00Or not comes to shove. But you know, you know, it should happen.
SPEAKER_02You gotta do what you gotta do.
SPEAKER_01I'm with Annie. Same. And he's like, sure, no problem. 200,000. And I think that's a friends and family discount.
SPEAKER_00I think he was he was But see, and this is and this is why in this scene, I you're right. It was never implicitly said that they actually fucked in the bathroom. But when she asked for help, and he's like, Do you need to think about it? Maybe a bathroom break. So it's kind of like, I mean, is is it possible that he kind of figured because the way she was staring at him and locked eyes before she went to the bathroom, he was like, Oh, she's thinking about me. It but it kind of impossible.
SPEAKER_01I like the whole whether they did or didn't, whether you know they did or that you know they didn't or whatever. They could not have made this any better by actually using words, once again, like you said, them saying it that they actually did something, what they would have killed. But that and that's what I'm saying. I'm loving this, right?
SPEAKER_00You know, when when him and I have things like that, it's kind of like he gets my meaning, wait, but nobody else does. But that's what I'm saying. Like, it's things like that that yes, it's so possible to have it when you've when you are in an established relationship. It just doesn't happen. At least not a lot. And also because you're seeing this person at home in your living room, in your bedroom, in your bathroom, like when they're shaving and you're taking a shower. Like it's not, it's just not the same as I guess when it's a secret thing, you don't see each other alone except for that. Well, I'm guessing. I I mean, I don't really know, but like I'm guessing. I mean, I can't imagine that you're like that idiot, right? Who takes his his uh secret girlfriend to a fucking baseball game. Like you don't do that.
SPEAKER_01And then sue them. Like, I mean, what the fuck? So at the low, low price of $200,000, they get their problem taken care of. And of course, you know, Beth has to do what she has to do. She goes back to Dean, like, sell these cars. He's like, How many cars do you need to sell? And he's like, 20, 30. We don't have that inventory though. She's like, so get the inventory. He goes, Well, you see, I can get it. Technically. He's like, but there's there's a problem. It's a little bit of a problem. In case you guys don't remember, Amber. Huh. Amber was from like episode one. Right. And Beth made her feel really, really small, as she should have. Um, Beth, not Beth. Amber, you see commercial, Amber's commercial for the auction. And it's really, really campy. What is it with their campy, corny commercials on this show? Like, I can't. All of them are stupid. But not only does she work for the auction, the car auction, she's the fucking gatekeeper. Yep. So the girls are talking about it. And Annie goes, don't worry, Beth. We got this. She's like, no, I'm fine. And Ruby goes like, no, you leave her bone, you stay away from her bony ass. Like, no, it's all good. We got this. Okay, so obviously, Amber is very much like she blackballed Dean. She's completely blackballed him. Yeah, she has him on a permanent weightless. Weightless. So do I think it's poetic justice? Yeah, because he's a douchebag. But the same thing, why the fuck are you so pissed? You fuck with the married man. What did you expect? Right. Right.
SPEAKER_00What was your what did you think was gonna be the outcome of that relationship? And then this is the part that was like even so while I don't, I agree with you. I don't necessarily fault her because obviously she's fucking with a married man, and I'm sure she's probably like, no, he's gonna leave his wife, because that's what they all say, because that's what he tells you, because otherwise you wouldn't open your legs for him. Now, I'm not mad that she's mad, because however she feels, that's fine, right? Okay. I just I'm confused at her, I'm not mad at it, but I'm like confused by it because you're an idiot. But here's here's where I had I started to have a problem. And I know that this is just Beth saying what she has to say because she was like, oh exactly what you're saying. What he did to us. No, not what he did to us.
SPEAKER_01He ain't do shit to you. The whole thing that Beth was Beth was very like, yes, I've forgiven him. And mistakes happened. It was a long time ago. It was 13 episodes ago, okay. Seriously, I'm like a little time ago. It's one season ago. And even in their time, it wasn't a long time ago.
SPEAKER_00No, in their uh in their world, it's probably like two months ago.
SPEAKER_01Seriously. So I'm just like, okay, Beth, I don't know. I I feel there's times I'm like, okay, Beth is coming to her own, and then Beth just slides back down. It's two steps forward, ten steps back.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And listen, if you gotta fuck around with somebody who's married, like you need to accept all the shit that comes. Like, it's just so stupid. And this is all the time on fucking TV. And it's like, really? And it's usually women who are sleeping with a married man, and then you're like, oh, boo-hoo, boo hoo. First of all, of course he's fucking you because you're not the one, you know, you take him out of his dreary life of, you know, responsibilities. So of course he's looking for you for an escape. He's not trying to make a life with you. You're a warm fucking body, like Dean said. That's it. Like, or like she said. I don't know. But and then and then you want to have feelings about it. Oh, fuck spare me.
SPEAKER_01When I asked her how many times did my husband cheated on me. First of all, how they did it. She's like, what did all those times he did to us? Like, all those times with one, all those times individually, and then Annie's like, many women, many times. Like, how's it go? And Amber's response was like, lifetime or per year. I would have been like, oh.
SPEAKER_00Okay, listen. That was a dumb thing to say, but I get why she said it for the show, but Ruby's like, this is not a census.
SPEAKER_02There's no good answer here. Like, this isn't there is none good answer.
SPEAKER_00And I don't know. But wait a minute, hold on a second. How does she know?
SPEAKER_01I mean, I was well, it's apparent because well, we find out later that it's other people that he worked with. So of course she knew.
SPEAKER_00But then how did you think you were special? Even more so, why so pissed that's what I'm saying? Like, if if if okay, if I was gonna fuck around with a guy and I know damn well, like he's fucking around with everybody, why would I ever and he's married, why would I ever think that I'm gonna be the one that he's gonna pick change for? I mean I don't know. Like some some things are just like so dumb. So fucking dumb.
SPEAKER_01I have to listen, I now need to get a meat tenderizer just for that purpose. Because the next thing she's beating the meat to tenderized. I just want to hit something. Sometimes you just want to hit something. Yeah, so she's beating the meat with a meat tenderizer. God, I want one.
SPEAKER_00I have like three. How do you not have one? Even I have.
SPEAKER_01Because back in my my mother used to use the edge of a saucer. I mean, I've even used like a pan. She just used like a saucer, like a like a little saucer, a s dish, like a dessert dish. She called them sauce, and she just uses the edge and beats it with the edge. Oh. She turns around on it.
SPEAKER_00And you never use a pot or pan. It's it's even easier because it's got a handle. You just put a plastic or wax paper. Uh not wax. I mean, you could use wax, like parchment paper, saram wrap, and just pound the hell out of it.
SPEAKER_01Just okay, be well, when we were growing up, all she had was cast iron. That shit is heavy as fuck. So I don't think it was and it probably can't be a little bit. It would have worked even better. I probably already had food in it because she was already cooking something else. But um no, she just took like a dessert plate and just took it on the edge and just beat it that way. And that's how I just always did it. Ruby and Annie are really like don't know what to say to this. Because she's just beating the meat. Wow, that did not mean for it to come out that way, but it did. So they're trying to find, no, talk her down in the dumbest way possible. They're like, but you know, he was already a cheater. Is two really worse than one? And is three worse than two? I don't know. I'm just asking. And so like they're just trying to talk her down. And she goes, it's worse because it was just a one by it was just anybody.
SPEAKER_00Oh, right, she said it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And so she's like, so it's actually worse. Stan calls doing this meat beating situation. And he's like, We were almost done. We were home free. We're about to leave. And then the dolls caught a scent.
SPEAKER_00I know.
SPEAKER_01And she's like, but what does that mean? And he's just like, you could tell he's so fucking traumatized.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And I love how, like, as the scene like when it cuts to his scene, it's like he's standing there, and then as the camera kind of pulls back, you see the big you're seeing the the full gravity that he's at the dump, like at the landfill with all these dogs, yeah, looking for a body. Stella saw in in my house what we call TV dog, and that was it. She starts barking at the TV.
SPEAKER_02Oh, she did? Huh?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she she barks when there's T uh dogs on TV. She jumps up like, no, no, that dog has a job. Stay, sits, stay your ass on the couch.
SPEAKER_01Beth shows up to the dealership and she walks in and she's looking at her husband in a new way. I'm sure she's seen him. I'm sure he she has seen him do this before, but didn't pay much attention to it. But now she's seeing the way he touches them and floats and does all of this shit.
SPEAKER_00And that goes right back to what I was saying before is that it's just those little touches between people who maybe should not be touching each other that that makes that little spark. And it could be it could be so nothing. It could be so nothing, but it but it might also open the door.
SPEAKER_01Right. What does he say? And she goes, Why don't you tell me?
SPEAKER_00Oh, because um, like, oh, you came through, we got the cars, how many?
SPEAKER_01How many? And she goes, Why don't you tell me? And he just looked, it's like he knew he he has to know.
SPEAKER_00Well, I'm I'm sure he has to know also he had to know also because she had to go through Amber to get the cars. So it's not really hard to walk back that.
SPEAKER_01Well, you know, considering it's Dean, you know. I'm proud that he caught on that fast because you know, he's a little oblivious to common sense. So he goes, what do you tell they're in the room, they're back at their house, how to get from the dealership to their house beyond me, the time travel. Um, I'm on a time machine. Or or teleport, that's what I want. Teleporter. Zoom. He tells her four. And he kind of hesitates. He's like, I feel like I should take this, divide it in half, minus two, plus three. Like he was doing some internal math. So I think it was a lot more than four.
SPEAKER_00I think he was trying to give like a calculated response to not up to not upset her. But then the people that he was saying, and she was like, oh my god, like this person looks like a little boy. Do you like that? But it's like, I I and so it's kind of one of those things where it's like maybe he was saying things that he thought like wouldn't be a threat to her, but also But that makes you even worse. You're like, really?
SPEAKER_01Really? Right. And he goes, You haven't slept with me. You didn't want me for like two years. She's like, I was depressed, and it was a whole bunch of things. And I get don't don't don't stab me, Lisa, with the fork through the top through the computer. I understand both sides. I do too. Okay. But I haven't. But it could have been worked out so many better ways than fucking cheating.
SPEAKER_00Right. I'm glad that she brought up the depression because because they were like, oh, well, you know, not since the last kid was born. And I get that because postpartum depression is a very real thing. Not only that, but clearly not that Dean doesn't spend time with his kids, but clearly it's Beth who's always the one who's on top of things, managing things, and taking care of the house.
SPEAKER_01Because in Dean So she can't be depressed. You know what I mean? She's not gonna fight.
SPEAKER_00Of course not, right? Because in and you've got Dean in the last couple of episodes talking about, like, well, you do the house and I do the job. So he's he's kind of already made it clear that he expects her to handle the stuff in the house. Even when that scene where he was like, Oh, I want you to feel safe at home, so I changed the locks. You're sitting on the couch, you're not doing shit. Like you're not doing anything, you're just being present in your home. That's not really doing stuff. But while I admit that I'll see his side too, because he's like, Well, what did you expect would happen? Anything else? Anything else. You could have talked to me. And and it goes both ways. Beth could have also talked to him, but I will say that when you're struggling with depression, you're not saying, hi, I need help. I've been there. No, you not you do not say, hi, I need help. If somebody reaches out to you, you may or may not accept the help. You're never, the person who is depressed is never gonna come to you and say, I'm depressed, I need help. It's not.
SPEAKER_01The loved ones are supposed to say, You need help. I'm going to help you. How can I help? Like you guys, you need to bring it to the forefront. But if the person that you live with is supposed to take care of you and be there for you through and recognize we need to get you help. How we do it, we need to work it out how, but this is we're going to do this.
SPEAKER_00So this is and and this is a side, right? But when I was studying a lot in this realm, not just from a psychological point of view, but also as a doula, I was really trying to find instances of pediatricians being able to spot postpartum depression. Because after a woman gives birth, yeah, she may go back for her six-week checkup, and then that's it. After that, she's not going to see the death. The only doctor she sees is the pediatrician.
SPEAKER_01Pediatrician.
SPEAKER_00And pediatricians, some can, but it's not, it's not something they're looking for. And I think that that's a good thing.
SPEAKER_01She's the only doctor that she's going to be seeing. It is the only doctor. Or even if she's depending on how depressed she is, if she's not even taking the kids to the doctor. Well, that's right. So those are these are certain signs that the piatrician would be the first one to notice.
SPEAKER_00So pediatricians should be able to see those signs and check in on the mom. Because that would help so many women. That would help so many kids. I mean, you know, let's be honest. We see instances of severe postpartum depression, which is postpartum psychosis, that leads to women drowning their kids in a lake. And it's preventable. And it's not, it, it's not always these women's fault because they they're struggling.
SPEAKER_01Because they're depressed. Like, you know what I mean? It's like you can't tell yourself, if you're drowning, legit drowning, you can't sit there and save yourself, pulling yourself by the bootstraps.
SPEAKER_00Right. You can't just you can't just be like, no, no, you're not drowning. Just swim, you're fine. Like, yeah. Um, but he should have just talked to her. He should have been the one before you figured out how to reach out to some other bitch and tell her what she wanted to hear. Why couldn't you tell that to your wife? Because he doesn't care. Well, it was easier. It's so much easier to reach out to a stranger or somebody you have no history with, no attachment to, and kind of make like that false connection. And maybe all you wanted was sex. I mean, but then I I don't know.
SPEAKER_01It's never just sex because it's gonna hurt somebody. Even if it is just sex, you're hurting someone else.
SPEAKER_00You're hurting somebody, yeah.
SPEAKER_01At least one other person. At the very least. I'm sure there's more. Yeah. Stan comes home. Next thing is Ruby and Stan. Love them. And he's tired, he's emotionally drained, physically drained.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he's like, I want to shower, then to sleep for like a year or something.
SPEAKER_01Something like that. And he has to go back the next day. They're having more people, come more officers with different precincts come in to help. And she goes, So what do we do? He goes, turn on below deck med. She and she doesn't get it. She he goes, just turn it on. Because you need time just to stop. He's like, you know what? I'm going. He's like, I physically can't do it. Because you can't do it. You need a distraction. And sometimes just that's true. And then she gets it. She goes, So Hannah did our boy wrong. Hannah did our boy wrong. And I was like, Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I was watching this episode with Amaya, and she's like, You gonna go watch below deck med again now? I was like, haha, no.
SPEAKER_01I had the same thought, Lisa. I really did. Who are you watching it with? Amaya?
SPEAKER_00I was watching, yeah, this episode with Amaya.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, tell them why I said the same thing. I thought the same thing. I thought they see. Legit thought the same thing about you.
SPEAKER_00I I literally this past week just finished catching up on the regular below deck.
SPEAKER_01I'm so behind. I'm like seasons behind on both of all of them. So I I just thought.
SPEAKER_00So I don't I don't know, like, but um I'm just like, why are there it it seems like there's no more reunion episodes, and I'm kind of mad because I love the reunion episodes when they call everybody out on their bullshit. Like I really want them to be like, and so so what about this? And you know, and stilly, what about this? And did you really fuck her in the water? Like I really wanted a reunion episode.
SPEAKER_01They don't do that anymore, so um.
SPEAKER_00I don't know, unless unless maybe it's just didn't come out yet, or maybe I didn't see after the last episode, it was trying to go to some other stupid show, and I was like, I don't want to watch this shit, shut off. Okay. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Um, so Beth at the local 7-Eleven adding Baca to her slushie is an Italian vibe, and I'm here for it. And the guy was like, You can't do that.
SPEAKER_00Is it a slushie or is it a slurpee? Slushy, slurpey. Well, if it's slurpey 7-Eleven. But if like we used to get like the slushies after was it right? It was the slushies that we used to go in that little the store on um Henry Street. Uh, you mean France? Oh, you didn't you didn't walk that way. I didn't walk that way. I almost forgot because I was never invited to your house.
SPEAKER_01So keep it up, I don't want to invite you to this one anymore either.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she's having a mom, a mama moment. And like, but nothing I didn't know. She had a nipa vodka. Why couldn't you just do that shit in the car? That's what I'm gonna say.
SPEAKER_01Because I was like, that could have just been that but you wouldn't have this scene with her bullying the poor kid.
SPEAKER_00Well, she just ignored him. And he's like, hey, you can't do it, you can't do that. You can't she just totally ignored him.
SPEAKER_01Honestly, what are you gonna do though? At that point, right? Like, what's he gonna do? She put vodka in her and her slushy slurpee that she paid for. Like, what the fuck? And then she couldn't then when she walks out. Why can't I remember the character's name? Jimmy? Turner, yeah. Turner. Timmy Turner. Jimmy Turner. I keep calling him Timmy Turner. Not Timmy Turner. Jimmy Turner. Jimmy Neutron and Timmy Turner. Oh, whatever, it's like a combination of two cartoons.
SPEAKER_00Well, and then they did reference Nick Jr., so maybe they're fans.
SPEAKER_01Right, because it was like Jimmy Neutron, Timmy Turner. Okay. Yes, I may have been watching this stuff before I was a grandmother. Leave me alone. He does what the FBI does, and he's intimidating, and she gives no fucks. Like she shows him that she gives no fucks. Yeah. She doesn't know. She's out the legend in her robe and her pajamas.
SPEAKER_00So she really doesn't care right now. I feel like if you really wanted to, because he's like, oh, I used to put vodka in those in college. Like maybe catch her on drinking and driving. Maybe you got a better case than talking about, you know, right. Murder. Gonna go to Club Fed.
SPEAKER_01And she says, You like, what do you think? You like bowling, spas. Well, they have everything, they have something for everyone there. And she's like, Where? As she's slipping on her drink. Oh, it's like club fed, you love it. And she's like, whatever. He should have known she's in this place in her pajamas and slippers. Do you really think she cares about anything you have to tell her right now? He does not know women. Because as a woman, I could look at a woman in the street and like, oh, baby girl's about to go ham or someone. I'm gonna walk this way. You could just tell when a woman is done, when she's through. So, you know, the next day she's asking the dump da dump. So where are we at? He goes, Well, I think I have, I think I, you know, sex addict and da da da.
SPEAKER_00Right. I downloaded some books about sex addiction. No, bitch. No.
SPEAKER_01Fucking crumbs, the money. He's like, oh, you add so and so's Lincoln and so and so's whatever. Two. Two. Listen, I understand you just can't. I get it. Right, right. You just don't do it. But same time, he's just it's just another example. And it's just, I don't fucking know. I just don't like him.
SPEAKER_00He's like, yeah, to sell them any cars, we'd have to like give them away. Go ahead and do that.
SPEAKER_01Then do that. So she was not joking. This when he goes, the customer's looking at the core back. He goes, that's a $50,000 car. And they had it for $10,000. I was like, yeah, he has a hard on, because I kind of had a hard on. I was like, ooh. Okay. I have, I have to have questions. I said, let's just have questions.
SPEAKER_00First of all, that's a $50,000 car. Fine. But even if you sold that shit for $30,000, somebody was going to come in and buy it.
SPEAKER_01Yes. I think they over exaggerated a lot of this to make a point.
SPEAKER_00And then there was like the one that uh Amy Annie was laying on. And she took the one from $5,000 or $11,000. It was like $11,000, made it $1,000. Like you could have sold it for $4,000. You know, extra. I'm just saying.
SPEAKER_01No, I thought it was a little bit of an exaggerated, but I know you had questions about the logistics and the math, didn't you?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because I'm like, isn't that a giant fucking red flag? And the fact that everyone was sm the salespeople was smiling. They're like, wait, you're not. But but like when the IRS comes looking at your books, how can you afford to sell a $50,000 car for $10,000? Like I feel like that's gonna make a problem. And then I was like, okay, well, maybe it could be like, oh, well, we needed it really quick for like a lawyer's fee because the the FBI is looking at Beth and she wanted to make. I mean, I feel like there's ways that maybe you could just turn it around and be like, okay, well, we got nervous, blah blah blah. But like, my god. I hope Ruby saved you a shovel. I think we're gonna have to rate episodes on how many shovels needed. In my head, okay.
SPEAKER_01Uh I don't know. If it yeah, I don't know. Maybe this episode, maybe that was the plan for like season 10 if we made it that far. I don't know. Remember back when this sounds really stupid, but it's very important for me to say this.
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_01The logo for the dealership, I fucking hate. Like when they're giving out like like they're printing out the contracts and giving away the keys, it's like yellow. I don't you can't really see it, but it's enough that I hate it. Okay. It's it's yellow and it's just stupid, and it's very campy and very 70s, and I hate it. And that's thought I should say that. Because it's very important for me, because it runs me the wrong way every time I see it. Okay. So either they sell them the cars, if you want to call it sale, giveaway, whatever. They meet Rio at the restaurant, bar, nightclub, whatever. And then they have their hand moment giving the bag over, Lisa.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So she puts the bag. Oh, okay. She puts the bag with the money. Because he he sits next to her, he puts the bag with, she puts the bag with the money, and when he goes to grab it, he like raises her hand on his way down to the handle.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Speaking of, Annie doesn't work at the at the Lisa anymore. I like I thought about that too. And now I was like, well, I thought about that in the scene when her and Sadie are in the car again before school. And she's like, oh, I thought we could do this after school. And I'm like, don't you have a job? Like, where they haven't seen you working, but okay.
SPEAKER_01Um, so go back to the scene. So back to the scene. Um, sandwich the money. And he goes, so is it be taken care of? He goes, What, you don't trust me? She goes, absolutely not. Right. She was like, God no. God no. That's what it is.
SPEAKER_00And Annie was just like, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. Annie. I was like. But I think one of my favorite scenes was when they were outside. Yes. Ruby actually.
SPEAKER_01And did they have to walk through the kitchen? Thank you. That's another thing. That was weird to me. How the hell? Like, I wish somebody would walk through my back, like our body shop area to get to the. Yeah, that'd be like weird. What? Like, what are you doing?
SPEAKER_00Right. Um. Yeah, Emmy calls her out and she's like, I don't have to take this. And she starts walking out. They follow. She's like, oh, yes, no, no. No, yes, you do.
SPEAKER_01Because if it wasn't me, you were doing the same thing. And she goes, What's gotta? Ruby goes, What's kind of into you two? What's gotten into us? I know what's gotten into Beth. And it's what did she call him? And she was a gang friend.
SPEAKER_00And Ruby was like, and she's how was it? No, and and it's good. It's the same like with the freezer where it's just kind it's out loud, but it's like to herself almost. Like, and it's like, but how was it? Was it good? Was it good?
SPEAKER_01Those are the very important things.
SPEAKER_00Nobody is even acknowledging her or answering her, but she just has questions. She goes, that's how he gave you the money.
SPEAKER_01Then she goes, and this is when I thought about you. She goes, No, but that happened after it happened after that. So that's like, okay, so is this confirmation? Is this not confirmation? Is it like because there's something happened, but not that happened? Yeah. Do I know? So I'm like, I wouldn't. Lisa's dissecting this now, isn't she? You were dissecting it. But okay, hold on. I think about you when I'm watching TV. Aw. And of course, Annie has a crisis of conscience about lying. Because the next day she's taking her to school, and she tells Sadie the truth about her and her dad. And Sadie being the emotionally intelligent young man that he is, um very calmly said when Annie said, What, say something, and she goes, I'm gonna stay with Nancy tonight. That whole scene had me all the feels.
SPEAKER_00It's so much to put on Sadie.
SPEAKER_01I don't think I would have to. I don't think I would.
SPEAKER_00They didn't put it on Sadie in a way, but it's so much for Sadie to take on.
SPEAKER_01No, right. And I feel like maybe like I don't think. I know I thought about that too. Like she has overnight or to call out of school, like take the next day off of school to deal with the emotions. So once again, Sadie was the adult.
SPEAKER_00Right, like now she has to walk into school, she has to function and learn and and you know um and act on her responsibilities while carrying this knowledge. And she can't just go somewhere and process it. It's it was like a shitty time to tell her. I mean, you we can go back and forth on should she have told her, but no matter what, if she was gonna tell her, this was not the right time. But yeah.
SPEAKER_01The next day, Beth is at the dealership and it's nothing. And he, Beth, not Beth, what's his name? Dean. He's like, I just got rid of half my staff, my workforce. She's like, well, it's not like there's anything to sell. He goes, so what do we do? She goes, we just we start over. And she goes, I did your calendar. He goes, I redid your calendar. She goes and tells her, like, when, like, who has what kid has what scheduled. And he's looking, like, smiling, like, okay. He goes, but wait, wait. And then he's and then it clicks. He's like, you want me to do this? Right. And she goes, Yeah. He was like, but what are you gonna be doing? He was like, she was like, I'll be at work. Right. She's like, we both can't steer the ship. And I was like, I love that she used his words. And he was just like, it's about time. He's not a capable businessman. I mean, I mean, I feel like no, absolutely.
SPEAKER_00But I'm like, I was trying to think, like, right, if I if I went to Alex and I was like, all right, this is what we're gonna do, he'd probably be like, bitch, if you bring in in the money, do it.
SPEAKER_01Okay, listen.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01I gotta say, your husband truly is a real feminist. For the most part. I don't know internally. I don't know within the within your household. I don't know. I don't sleep with you two. Although people who don't know, people who think they know us wouldn't would think that we are one big polyamorous couple. Uh no, I just help them get dressed and organize their lives when I'm there. That's all.
SPEAKER_00Um does he have caveman tendencies?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. He's a man.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I mean, do I? Yeah. I like making fire.
SPEAKER_01God, she loves making fire. Oh my god. It's like it's a problem. She's the whole entire problem. She loves her fire. But she's good fire. There's a scientific method behind her madness.
SPEAKER_00I know. And it's like, it's like when I get it, oh, it feels so good. Like I did it. I made it. And how many, how many matches did I use?
SPEAKER_01It's like pulling out that straight hair that you can't see, but you can feel, and you just yank it out. It's like, oh yeah. It's even more fun when you do it without looking at a mirror.
SPEAKER_00For some reason, it's more it's an accomplishment. Yes.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Um, I thought I was the only one that's that insane.
SPEAKER_00So now that Beth is in charge.
SPEAKER_01Beth is in charge. Because he asked Oh, before she told before this scene happened, like the beginning of this scene, he asked her, Is now everything okay? She goes, Yeah, I think so. Mm-hmm. Because, you know.
SPEAKER_00Well, also, um, so there's no confirmation.
SPEAKER_01They just gave him the money.
SPEAKER_00Well, Rio tells them that I solved. Oh no, we're not. No, that's afterwards. No, no, that's after. Yeah. That's afterwards. You're right. What's her name? Oh no, yeah, when he so when he asks her, and she's like, it will be.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it will be. Next scene is Ruby coming home to Stan, and she goes, What kind of donuts do you like? And he said, We were all thinking a free one. Because all free donuts take delicious to me. And I guess the Rotary Club forgot their glazed donuts. Mm-hmm. I love when the Rotary Club gets their donuts. So Stan tells her, he goes, We couldn't find the body. She's like, What do you mean? He goes, There's no body. We couldn't find anything. He goes, I guess someone out there's no looking out for you. She was like, I guess so. And then, you know, FBI dude is at the what is at the Mary Kat hotel room. Yes, the thank you. The Mary. And he's like, You think this is funny? As he's looking at this woman, completely the first he walks in. Right. She's like, she's trying to entertain with the the little one. Her bags are as big as my boobs. And she's sitting on running around.
SPEAKER_00Like she just has kind of given up. And she's like, Do you think this is funny? And she's looking at him like, Clearly, this is a fucking time of my life. Yeah. Right. Join me.
SPEAKER_01He's like, I need something. He puts, he's he brings her out to the hallway. He goes, There was nobody. You're playing games. She goes, he goes, you know what, pack up because we, you know, we're gonna, I'm booking you and the kids are going to the system. She goes, I need something. She goes, one of the ladies' husbands is a cop. And I was like, oh fuck me. And then it's and then you see this, you see Ruby and Stan just on the couch watching Nemo because as tired as they are watching fucking Nemo because they always get scared of that same part. Um they're holding hands and just breathing. You're like, breathe while you still can. Once again, fucking corny commercial. Beth is doing her commercial for the new and an approved under new management Bolin Motors. Catering to women. And I actually like that. I would be down for that.
SPEAKER_00Hell yeah, I would shop there. I think, um. I mean, imported teas and coffees, childcare while you shop, free car seat installation, what's not to love? And not getting hit on, because you know, hey, pretty little lady, your eyes match the pink. I don't think and I I don't know. I don't know about like like I don't mind getting hit on a little.
SPEAKER_01Just a little bit, but I don't know about like um like you know independent dealerships, like, you know, the but I know in larger dealerships, like, you know, that have contracts with brand names, they don't do that at larger dealerships. I don't know about the little like off-road rinky dink.
SPEAKER_00I would I would imagine it's something more like they don't have to. Not that they couldn't, but they probably just don't have to.
SPEAKER_01They still kind of have to. I mean, listen, yeah, uh sales are sales, no.
SPEAKER_00But anyway, sales are sales, but they they don't do it because they're already making money.
SPEAKER_01So I'm just saying, like I think the used car dealerships, like you see on the highways, probably do better off than the ones that are actually doing that is weird.
SPEAKER_00Car car sales seems like a traditionally more of a male-dominated field. Men are not thinking about what a woman needs if she's buying a car.
SPEAKER_01Shit, the blood is coming through. So, you know. I put on one of these band-aids, like they're like the stop the bleeding band-aids, like whatever. I don't know. Like, they won't come through. You're coming through. Back to the Bolins. Um, so she's doing her really corny uh car sales commercial. It's kind of cute though. It is, yeah. And then somebody goes, Hey, I think your business partner's looking for you. And she looks over and it's Rio. She goes, You can't tell people we're business partners. He goes, Well, what are we? Oh, yeah, no, no. He goes, You're right, it's a little early. For labels. She's like, let's not just call it anything. Um, so he keeps saying me shit that would make me like just to egg her, like just like the poker, but that would make me want to jump you in more. Like you keep doing shit to try to get at me, but now I just want to jump on you. I don't know.
SPEAKER_00But the problem is, like, so I think that what we hear his lines and we're just kind of like, you know, whatever, but she she just she doesn't give it back so much. Like you and I would have had some stupid one-liner back.
SPEAKER_01Like, I think she doesn't give it back because it's turns her on, she doesn't know what to say. I think she's confused. I'm like, she's like, wait, I shouldn't be feeling this way. So he goes, Yeah, we have, you know, I got your body. She goes, Did you throw it away? She's like, he's like, no, I'm gonna keep it. How the fuck did he find that thing? I'm sure he's pay so I'm sure he has people paid everywhere. Okay, so when you and then there's always like that, it looked like you just dump it anywhere, but there's quads. So they know it came from this area, so it should be in this area. So let's go for the body.
SPEAKER_00So when that because when the agent, Agent Turner tells her, she's like, well, maybe somebody came and got it. He was like, Well, how? It's it's guarded 24 hours, and then that's when she was like, Oh, but one of them is one of them is married to a cop. So that that could make sense, right? Like that he he has somebody on his payroll either in a police either capacity or in a guard capacity. Yeah, it's easy. That's easy, you know, in a dumpster capacity.
SPEAKER_01I had no doubt that he couldn't get the body from the landfill.
SPEAKER_00No, it was just more like curiosity, like, okay, well, how you know, which string did he pull on? Well, string, which string like how did he get it? And she was like, So where where did you throw it or whatever? And he was like, I think I'm gonna hold on to it. Ill?
SPEAKER_01I'm sure it's not in his freezer, but I'm sure he has like a warehouse somewhere. I'm sure it is bigger. I'm sure he has a place.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm sure he didn't bring it home and you know, put it in the freezer in the garage, like under where his son sleeps.
SPEAKER_01So Right. So no, I'm pretty sure it's good. So that is the end of this episode. What are you looking forward to seeing next week? This week, next week, after this episode, you whenever you watch it.
SPEAKER_00Um, I don't know. I mean, I'm just I get why Mary Pat is sticks around, but she's so fucking annoying. So there's a lot of things, right? Like obviously the investigation is gonna move over into Ruby and Stan. There's Beth taking over the dealership, there's the situation, you know, just already on the move, but whatever, between Rio and Beth. There's Rio having a body, there's Mary Pat stuck in a hotel room wanting to kill herself with all those kids. There's Sadie and Annie and all that. Then there's Annie and Beth. So there's a lot of like, you know, is Dean gonna fail trying to be Mr. Mom? There's a lot of things left for us to look at. Also, there's a show that I watch or that I've seen, and it's like well, there's two. I think one is like the ugly, ugliest house, and the other is like the scariest house or something, and Retta hosts them. And I I mean I love her anyway, but like I I loved her like from Parks and Rec. That was the first place that I saw her, and it's just so funny watching her as Ruby, and especially in her role as a wife to Stan, and then seeing her as Retta in this show where she's just kind of like herself going to visit these homes, and it's it just shows like really, really what a good actress she is.
SPEAKER_01I know I think I saw her, I think I remember seeing her on um Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce. That's another show I was trying to play with watching. These are so many good shows.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_01Um, but um, I like her. I love her. Um next week's episode is what episode six? I don't have a title. Do you have a title? No. Because you usually do, and I don't ever look until I'm like, fuck, I should have looked. Okay, so you guys have to come back out. What the hell? I hit my finger that I oh shit. I'm sorry. I saw star. It didn't hurt. It hurt now. When I knocked it, when I ripped the nail off, it didn't hurt. Oh, yeah, that was bad.
SPEAKER_00Okay, that will do it for this episode. She needs some first aid. I need more first aid. And don't drink and drive drunk responsibly.com. Until next time, I'm Lisa.
SPEAKER_01And I'm Agnes.
SPEAKER_00We're out of here.
