SPEAKER_00

Hi, welcome to this bonus episode of Assassin's Tips. Today we are going to begin our Ladies of London series for this bonus series.

SPEAKER_02

The public have spoken and we answered.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So I'm Lisa and I'm Agnes.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_00

That's okay. Um I'm sipping on some coffee. I yeah. As as much as I need alcohol and want to drink alcohol, I actually have not been drinking a lot because uh yeah, it's been a shit show the past couple of weeks. And um, well, since you guys paid to be here, uh yeah. I am what are you drinking anyway? Are you drinking?

SPEAKER_02

I am drinking ginger lemon ginger tea and little hoo-hoop inside, you know, a little hot cotton thing going on.

SPEAKER_00

Um it it's been it's been a rough couple of weeks, and I um yeah, I don't know how much alcohol I can actually stomach. I I have been sick physically and emotionally. Um I have had a couple of deaths in the family. I have had COVID. Um I yeah, and I am honestly, I'm actually really, really depressed about the results of the election. And you know what pisses me off so much is I'm the kind of person who when I make a mistake, I I'm really hard on myself about it. And I'm I'm so discouraged and like mad at myself for thinking that as a country we were better than this. It's it's a truly heartbreaking thing to watch, and as the mother of three daughters who now have to exist in a world where women are not valued for anything more than property, it's it's really fucking discouraging. But here we are recording and trying to have some sense of normalcy and I don't know, entertainment. Do what we can to not fall down into the void because it I know for me it's been uh a roller coaster ride of like numbness, sickness, rage, sadness, depression, all of the five stages, and then some on repeat.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Um it's hard to it's truly hard for me to like think about the future without wanting to cry. And not just for big things, right? Like, will my children be able to have credit cards without a man signing off on them? But simple things, you know, like just small things, small things that people just don't realize how much everyone will be impacted. Like, will I have health insurance in a couple of months? Will I be able to buy food because part of our income relies on overtime?

SPEAKER_01

But we can't we can't stop. We have to just keep going. And yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

If our ancestors stopped, we wouldn't be where we are today, so we can't. Uh with that being said, I had a very hard time watching this episode, and I know this was 10 years ago that it aired. But looking at these bitches and their fucking, oh my god, I got social light, and ah, the money, and uh, you'll never have a seat at the table made me really angry, and I wanted to punch all of them. So that's where I'm at. Agnes is like, you have to watch with your 10 years ago eyes, even two weeks ago eye at this point. I had a hard time. I had a hard time. I'm gonna I'm gonna stick with it. This is you know, this is the show that we chose, and I will watch, but I think that I'm gonna have like season one lost Agnes vibes.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god. You solely are. Um maybe we should put this season on hold.

SPEAKER_00

I don't I'm just like, I don't give a fuck about polo at the park or your shoes or your wedges and your dating, and your your fucking man is hiding assets because he doesn't want to pay his fair share. Oh, boo-hoo, crime your fucking river. Oh, and if he can't get his shit together, you don't want to be with him. What happened to love? My man is broke as hell. I still love him. And you know what? I have to say something. That's another thing that I am grateful for. Because for all the faults that I have, that my husband have, at least I know I married a guy who respects me mostly. No, no, no.

SPEAKER_02

But you know, like when it comes to when it eventually comes to you become property, you know you'll be taken care of.

SPEAKER_00

He yes.

SPEAKER_02

He he will just pretend that he owns you, but in reality, in some he's like, you know.

SPEAKER_00

No, he knows what's up. He works his ass off so that we could do things that make us happy, not just, you know, barefoot and pregnant kind of thing. And like, you know, I'm the man, so I get no, hell no. He don't he respects his daughters, his wife, his mother, his sisters, all the women in his family. And for that, I am unfortunate. But yeah, so polo in the park, assets hiding. And why is it that the only person that I could like tell apart is like Annabelle? Why do they all look alike? Because no, there's those like two brunettes.

SPEAKER_02

Annabelle and Julia. Yeah, Juliet. Juliet, because there's a Julia coming later, who's the Earl of Sandwich, his wife. That's all of Sandwich. Oh my god. Okay, seriously? Mm-hmm. Busa.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, but tell me about the show because like that was my take on it. It's like, fuck these bitches, I don't care.

SPEAKER_02

You're not, it's it's okay. This is a reality show about ladies of London. It's not supposed to be poignant, it's not and here I am.

SPEAKER_00

I'm watching and I'm like looking at the scenario, like the scenes, and I'm just like, I wonder what it would be like to live in London. I'm looking at it like, oh, look, and she's she's taking the train and she's gonna go ride horses, and this one lives in this kind of town, and this one lives in this town, and like look at the the housing bill.

SPEAKER_02

Definitely would not be accepted. I don't need to be a socialite. I just need to be like this. Can I can I just find somewhere to live, right?

SPEAKER_00

I just I just need to be respected as a person by society.

SPEAKER_02

And then, like, see, you should have kept us, you guys. You should we shouldn't have been revolted. I feel like the the thing they're looking right, they're like, see what happens. I just don't think we would have been that bad off at this point. Um the whole world is laughing at us. But anyway, back to the show. It's irrelevant, it's supposed to be just watching social lights and mean girls and Americans and the this their interaction. That's just it's not is that a political documentary.

SPEAKER_00

Of course it's not, but it is a reflection of the mentality of so many people. Agnes is so done with me. I'm sorry. I I I am struggling.

SPEAKER_02

I don't think this is a honestly, all joking aside, maybe we should put this show on hold for a minute. All right, but just what was the point of the episode? It was introducing the ladies. The whole point of this episode just to introduce people. Okay, and you know who who's who, and then you're gonna get into typical reality show women catfighting drama, flipping tables and shit. Oh, that well, in English style, you know what I mean? Okay, stip upper lip in that, you know what I mean? You introducing everyone, and then you get to the whole yes.

SPEAKER_00

I can learn to like tea. They were at a tea shop, and they're like, How do you choose like between 85 different teas? And I'm just like, I don't like any of them, but I will learn.

SPEAKER_02

I like tea. I actually want a little, I want an actual I want a tea set one with a tipper.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but I used to have one, but then I remembered I didn't like tea, so I didn't need it. I'm sorry. I'm a I'm a coffee drinker.

SPEAKER_02

I love coffee too, don't get me wrong.

SPEAKER_00

I just don't like tea.

SPEAKER_02

I like I could keep it all in the house. Yeah, people who come to my house hate me. They're like, yeah, they're drinking. I was like, sure. Water, coffee, tea. Pick one. And I can make that tea and that coffee either hot or iced. You know what I mean? You want espresso? You want a latte? I just don't do juices, I don't do sodas, I don't do so it's water, tea, and coffee. I got plenty of that though.

SPEAKER_00

I like some of the herbal teas. Yay. Like, you know, and I like iced tea, but I don't like like sweet tea. I don't like it. It has a sweet tea? Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Oh.

SPEAKER_00

It has too much tea flavor for me. Oh, not the sugar. It's tea. No, it's the tea part that I don't like. Yes, 911. You know when you have like fresh brewed iced tea that's not like lipped in, like powdered brew. Like the powder one. I like that. I'm a kid from Brooklyn. Shut up. I love that. It was no sweet tea. Choose the tea tastes like tea.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't like it.

SPEAKER_00

I just like the the the four, not the force, the um no, that's breadcrumbs.

SPEAKER_02

Um, but force didn't they make so maybe I think 4C made the powdered iced tea too.

SPEAKER_00

And like the little juice, the sips, juice boxes, that that's how I know iced tea. So if it doesn't taste like that, I don't want it. I'm sorry. I you can take my card away. It's it's okay. I understand.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know how we just have to find other country for you to immigrate to. That's all.

SPEAKER_00

But I drink if I try to drink tea like black tea, it it upsets my stomach to the point where I have physically vomited. I can't drink it.

SPEAKER_02

I can't stomach it. Please don't stop. I want to like maybe you should move to Dubai. I don't know. We can't afford Dubai.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe I should just fucking tie a raft and live in the middle of the ocean. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

All right. All right, cool. Sound like a plan.

SPEAKER_00

Sunny spot, please. So, um okay, so tell me about this uh show. Wait, I was supposed to be doing the top. No, because I don't have I I told you my thoughts on it. Holy shit, I wasn't prepared.

SPEAKER_02

I wasn't ready.

SPEAKER_00

Oh.

SPEAKER_02

Sugar.

SPEAKER_00

Well, the whole episode, it I I see, they introduce them, and then apparently it's all about them going to Polo in the park, which is the kickoff to the summer season, and it's like a really big social event, and they're making fun of the one chick because she was like, Do the horses ever get hurt with the clubs? And she's like, They're not clubs, it's not golf. I was like, even I knew it was a fucking mallet, but anyway.

SPEAKER_02

So I think the first one, I mean, I don't remember the first one is, but you know they talk about Caroline Stanberry. And she's like the main person of the show.

SPEAKER_00

Is that the one that was born there?

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Because they're all from the like.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so I know there's one that was born there. Um, well, well, Caroline was born there, Annabelle is born there. Yeah. Those are the English ladies. Now Caprice is considered one like the English one, but she's originally from the American. Right. Right. She but she's considered really like she's considered for the sake of the show, part of the English crowd.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. I recognize them more, I think, by name, because looking at their faces, I'm like, they're interchangeable.

SPEAKER_02

You're not wrong. Sorry.

SPEAKER_00

They're just, yeah. Okay, I'm trying to find. And then there was, then there was the chick with the rich boyfriend who was hiding assets. Noelle. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

And she just got it wrong all the way around with the hats and with this. And yeah, she's not one of my favorites. It's a little dense for my personal liking. You have Julia.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's that's the other brunette. Juliet.

SPEAKER_02

Um, I did not like Juliet from get-go. How come? She is, in my opinion, she's someone who wants to be important. Well, because you saw about when you're talking about her life, she's like, yeah, and I hung out with all the famous people, celebrities, and you can tell she was just she might have been like one of the rich kids that ran the same circles, but she wasn't part of their clique, if that makes sense. Well, that makes sense. She didn't give me that, she didn't give me that vibe. I'm like, oh, you were the employee. You styled them. Got it. Like, she's just wasn't, she's definitely a pick-me girl. And she's not likable, in my opinion.

SPEAKER_00

Honestly, I feel like all of them are not really likable, in my opinion.

SPEAKER_02

They're not, but some of them you start to like.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Um, speaking of which, you have Caroline. No, she's not Caroline filming, didn't start yet. Marissa. Marissa. She's the also an American. She's the one who her husband is the oh the owner of Bougie, the club.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, okay, okay. Yeah. That's the one that she was like, oh, my husband didn't like waiting for me in the customs line.

SPEAKER_02

Right. She is actually somewhat. Listen, you actually start to like her. You really start to like her.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, it was it wasn't. I wasn't rolling my eyes at her. I was rolling my eyes at him.

SPEAKER_02

Oh. Um, so it's nobody likes waiting, dumbass. Suck it up, cupcake. Caroline, Marissa, and Caprice. That little Mike. Juliet, Noel, and Marissa. Those are the six that we we met today.

SPEAKER_00

And then when they were at that little picnic and she was with the kid and and the in the chocolate. Is it me, or does the man have zero sense of humor? Is it like a British thing? He's like, Oh, you have chocolate on your face. Oh, now you have it in your hair. And like, do you smile? Do you laugh? I think this is it. Weird. Just weird. I I would have been like, yeah, come and get it.

SPEAKER_02

Because, well, they don't do they don't do PDAs. They don't do Okay, but he could still smile and laugh at her.

SPEAKER_00

Well, you know, smiling is not that's not what they do, apparently. So this this whole show is just following. Is it like real housewives-ish-ish? Yes. But it yeah, it's okay.

SPEAKER_02

So it's just them in their social circles and their reactions and their interactions with one another. And it gets you, you know, the proverbial table flipping and all that other fun stuff. I think um, you know what might be fun, Lisa? Uh-oh. Because we were so unprepared for this one. Yeah, sorry guys. I think we should like watch it and talk about it as we watch it. That's interesting. Because not only will we be doing like, yeah, I think we should do that. Because there's not there's not a thing online that everyone's there's not a synopsis.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

We could that's actually more than two sentences.

SPEAKER_00

Well, there never is for reality show. None of the reality shows that we've done have have had it.

SPEAKER_02

We've just been able to like have my key points.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Because usually you make the key points, and you would just like, I hate these bitches. And those are your key points. Pretty much. These are the ladies of London. Stay tuned. As we see more of their drama, and then we meet friends of the late friends in the main cast. You would meet Julia.

SPEAKER_00

I think we did already.

unknown

There wasn't.

SPEAKER_02

Julia, whose husband is the Earl of Sandwich.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, then I don't know. No, you met Juliet.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, jeez. So not only do they look alike, but then they have Julia like she was um they showed her for like what's coming this season. Oh, I didn't really want to do that. Um Juliet and Julia both from America. Then that's when you see glimpses of Julia. Next week. So when Caprice uh was introducing herself and telling a little bit about herself, and you know, she went to love her life at this age, and she's now she's pregnant.

SPEAKER_00

The one that's pregnant, which one is that? That was Caprice?

SPEAKER_02

Caprice. Yes. The American London.

SPEAKER_00

The one that was there for like 20, 20, I wasn't saying hours, like 20 years.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. So, yes.

SPEAKER_00

Alright, so interesting. We have American bitches, London bitches. They all kind of look alike, they have sound alike names, and one of them's gonna have a baby. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Alright, this shit better get more interesting. Isn't that with that attitude? Oh wow.

unknown

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00

I don't care. These bitches could come find me. I don't care. And I would tell them you're rich and you're boring, but okay. Money doesn't make you entertaining, apparently. No, it does not. Because look, I'm broke and pretty fucking funny.

SPEAKER_02

I think I'm pretty entertaining.

SPEAKER_00

I think so too, especially because my daughter doesn't think so.

SPEAKER_02

We are but people other people do.

SPEAKER_00

Well, you know, we just don't take ourselves so seriously.

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_00

And we are not afraid to laugh at ourselves. And that's where most of the comedy comes from.

SPEAKER_02

There is there's so much more in life to take serious before me. Like killing spiders. That's more serious than I am.

SPEAKER_00

Ha ha.

SPEAKER_02

Oh no, I didn't even mean that about you.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

No, I didn't mean that about you. I just meant like in general. No, I think you meant that.

SPEAKER_00

I think that was a Freudian stuff.

SPEAKER_02

No, it was not. Because every time this year, they come here like Rambo. Like they don't, they don't fucking play around. They come incognito.

SPEAKER_00

Oh god.

SPEAKER_02

They are massive. They don't they don't play, they don't play games. So this time of the year, I'm always like but like double holster of raid and spider spray and vivo and all that. Yeah, it's crazy here. Never. Um, there's what else is there? Oh god, at least it's on 100, you guys.

SPEAKER_00

Imagine if I I'm just drunk.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. I just made a simple comment and she thought I was attacking her.

SPEAKER_00

Because of anything that you could have said, you said spider. Because trauma I've been through.

SPEAKER_02

Actually, I'm looking at my window, and the reason I keep my window shut and I keep like borders underneath my door up because every year they take over my house, and every year they fucking win. I'm traumatized. They really do. They come with different shades, different colors. I'm like, God damn it. So you're against diversity? But spiders can hide in my house and cognito like fucking militia. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

So that they come in different colors, so you want to deport them all? Got it. You want to get rid of them all.

SPEAKER_02

I want to get rid of all the shades, though. Actually, I suppose. I don't discriminate. I want to get rid of all the shades. So there's nothing wrong with that. No. Alright. I'm scared of Lisa, you guys.

SPEAKER_00

I am I don't stop. I'm blinking. Listen, I already said that when they take your disability away, you can come live with me.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

I'm looking out.

SPEAKER_02

That seems to be the only silver lining in your eyes. You're like, oh, I'll get my friend back. Maybe. We'll see.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, no. I mean forget it. She's dying. It's actually improving.

SPEAKER_02

Let me tell you, this is the only time a bitch has laughed in the last five to six days is me dying.

SPEAKER_00

Pretty much.

SPEAKER_02

And I'm okay with that. And I am okay with that. Pretty much. I actually kind of honored. I'm actually kind of like gay. I feel honored. I haven't had a lot to laugh about. Except for me dying. And I love that. I love that for you. Thanks, buddy. You're welcome.

SPEAKER_00

Anything for you. Alright. So the next episode of this, we we might try to do a a wat, like a how do you call it? Like a watch? Like a watch, watch.

SPEAKER_02

A watch.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but a watch podcasts.

SPEAKER_02

Watch. We'll think of it. You guys help us out. You know, when you put alcohol in hot like hot liquids or hot, it soaks into your body a lot quicker. So that's my excuse. Okay. Yeah. Just go with that, okay? Like has sake. Okay. Hits because it's warm.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

You you don't believe me.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, no. I no. I'm I'm I don't not believe you. I'm just okay. Um I'm just trying to think of like what it's called. And like when you do like yeah, like a live watch.

SPEAKER_02

Not there you go, live watch.

SPEAKER_00

We're not actually gonna be live watching.

SPEAKER_02

It's a pseudo-live watch. It's a pseudo-live watch.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. Anyway. I don't know what the next episode is, but Okay. That I can find out for us. I I hope the next episode is gonna be better.

SPEAKER_02

Because So, next episode of Ladies of London, which aired June 9th, 2014, is a match made in tabloid heaven.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Did we do a synopsis? Do you guys want a little teaser? Go for it. Go for it. While the women recover from the first polo event of the season, Noelle and her boyfriend Scott grapple with his legal robes and discuss when we back in together. Meanwhile, Caprice hits the tabloid headlines when she reveals a carefully calculated secret. The ladies prepare for the serpentine party, the biggest social event of the summer. I kind of want to go. However, Scott's notorious front-page divorce may prevent Noelle from getting a ticket. Oh. You know, in America, if they had drama, that would that would guarantee her a ticket.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I will say that that is one thing that I was surprised. Um and obviously I don't know how factual that is, but I assume, right, that it it is, that they were saying how the like the tabloids in London versus the US, that when there's drama, that the the London tabloids hit it harder.

SPEAKER_02

I can see that. I don't the reason I mean I feel like it's this I think American tabloids they hit hard, but then we went to the next one to hit hard. There's just so much shit that we that they pull up and dredge up, and then Americans are maybe short tempered, very short attention span. These people have attention spans like goldfish. So I think part of it is like New York United States tabloids just have to keep going. Okay. Whereas I think London tabloids, they can get in, they can dig, they can drag it out, they can milk it for all they got.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so I mean that that part kind of surprised me a little. I I don't know why. Kind of thought British people were a little bit more above that, but I guess. Remember Benny Hill?

SPEAKER_02

I mean, like fabulous. Yes. These motherfuckers are not as prim and proper. No, but but those are shows.

SPEAKER_00

Those are but it's like I like to say I like Yeah, Mr. Bean, Benny Hill, Abfab. I mean, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I think it's like it's more indicative of their personalities that we give that they want to admit.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I've even tried to watch like the British Office.

SPEAKER_02

Like, I know that they have humor and and you know I think they're little, I think they they are definitely as corrupt, morally corrupt, and sensationalized. Like they like to be sensationalized just as much as we do.

SPEAKER_00

I guess. I just I guess I just didn't expect that from like a tabloid perspective. If that if if you could like was you know what I mean, if you could like separate it. Like okay.

SPEAKER_02

What's a tabloid? Isn't that what they do though?

SPEAKER_00

No, no, no. Yeah, but meaning that it wasn't such like big business.

SPEAKER_02

Ah oh, I see. I understand what you're saying. I'm picking up what you're putting down now. Okay. I got you. I got you, Boo. We're here.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

unknown

I got you.

SPEAKER_02

We're reading the same pages.

SPEAKER_00

So that's something that did surprise me to learn. But I I don't know. I don't know. Like I feel like aside from the shows that I've seen that are British and whatnot, it's always like people here obsessed with the royal family.

SPEAKER_02

But I am actually kind of obsessed with English history as a whole. You're an anglophile. I am probably I know I am more up on English monarchy and the lines and the history and starting with William the Bastard than I am with American history. I prefer Americ I prefer English lit over American lit. American lit for me was just a little bit boring. I didn't like the authors. Um and just I don't know. I guess learning other countries' history is more entertaining.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I think history in general can be entertaining, especially when you put it in context, like compare to one country and how and how that country came to be versus another country, how they fit in together in the grand scheme of things. I think to me that's more interesting because I like puzzles. So when you learn things and you and you learn it in the bigger context, that that's what I like. If that makes sense.

SPEAKER_02

That makes attack. That makes sense.

SPEAKER_00

Like, don't just tell me about like you know, Henry VIII. Like, I want to know why he was so obsessed with his wives. I mean, you know what I mean. Like what what brought him to that? And what was the ramifications? And what was the bigger picture? What was going on that he felt and you know, whatever. But um I don't know. I guess I guess I'll learn something else while we watch. Hopefully it'll be more fascinating than the tabloids really dig deep in London.

SPEAKER_02

Well, we're gonna find out tomorrow. Well, next week.

SPEAKER_00

Also, I kinda want one of those mechanical horsey things. Me too. So you were watching it. I did watch. Of course I watched. I'm watching.

SPEAKER_02

You watched it, but you won't hate watching the whole thing. You would definitely act as I like the horse. You like the horse.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I like the horse. Sorry. I didn't I didn't hate everything. I like the horse. Okay, I'll take it. I like riding horses. I'm not like a pro by any means, but I I like riding I like horses. I like riding them. I'd have a horse if I could. I don't know where I'd put it, but I'd have one.

SPEAKER_02

Just use the neighbor's yard. Take over the house. Their house would be the stable, and you could I could fit a horse.

SPEAKER_00

Like I could there's enough room like right here near the bed. You could just lay there. You could make a bed for it. Probably be stinky. But you know. Too bad. So she's got a horse in her bedroom.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, I do.

SPEAKER_02

Where's Alex at? Hang on.

SPEAKER_00

He's in the bathroom.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, that's funny. If you know, you know. And if you don't know, now you know. Okay. Feeling kind of feeling very biggy today. Where Brooklyn at? Where Brooklyn at? Okay, no. I she's like, Agnes, shut the fuck up.

SPEAKER_00

Alright. Next time on Assassin's Sib's bonus episode, I guess episode two, ladies of London, and maybe I won't hate them as much. I love you. I will, I will, I will be drinking.

SPEAKER_02

Listen, I paid for a peacock subscription for this shit. Alright.

SPEAKER_00

Did you really?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Because my other use my login.

SPEAKER_02

Well, it was four o'clock in the morning. Cause I go to bed early now. Cause since I was sick. Anyway, I'm like, okay, we watch it. And my other means of watching this stuff was it working. So I'm like, fuck. God damn it. Subscribe. Go fuck yourself. Yeah. So yeah. So you're gonna watch this and you're gonna like it, damn it. Okay, Toki.

SPEAKER_01

Alright.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe we could do two or three episodes in one episode. Considering it's not a lot to talk about.

SPEAKER_00

Um yes. But that won't work if we're watching recording while we're watching. Cause then it's gonna be like an hour and a half episode.

SPEAKER_02

Good point.

SPEAKER_00

So we could try. And um if that doesn't work, then we'll do the two episodes in one. How many episodes are there in this season?

SPEAKER_02

Nine.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, thank god. So if we if we do two at a time We could do four four weeks. Yeah, so like this one and then two weeks.

SPEAKER_02

So maybe we don't have to do it live. We could just watch two episodes. And I'll take notes. Okay, and I'll take notes. Yeah, I think that's a better idea.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Alright.

SPEAKER_02

You need a hug.

SPEAKER_01

I need something.

SPEAKER_00

Uh anyway. Oh, and my kid has a stalker at work.

SPEAKER_02

What happened with that shit?

SPEAKER_00

Nothing so far. I just I've been picking her up to make sure she's not by herself. So yes. Yes, what a great time to be female. Well, I don't know. Sorry if we disappointed you for this episode.

unknown

Sorry.

SPEAKER_02

We were disappointments to a lot of people that lives. So there's that.

SPEAKER_00

We were also disappointed in this episode. We're disappointed in a lot of things. Welcome to the club.

SPEAKER_02

Suck it up, cupcake. Disappointment is about life. Life is about disappointments. That's what I mean.

SPEAKER_00

Hopefully in the the next episode. We we'll uh we'll get it together. Yeah. I get it together. And hopefully uh I will be in the mood to be enhanced next episode and I'll be more fun. And think maybe I'm gonna show you how to do like do you wobble? Like the dance?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I don't I mean. What? Have you wobbled? Because maybe if you have it, I could teach you how to wobble. And it could be like it doesn't, I could teach you how to wobble the next episode. I mean I know it's completely random. But that's what we do here. We do random. The look on your face is priceless.

SPEAKER_00

I I suck at like those organized dances in general.

SPEAKER_02

We like line dances?

SPEAKER_00

Like, yeah, like the ones that you know when when like the electric slide, the hustle, like all of those kinds of you know, the cupid shuffle, like whatever. I I can't follow directions.

SPEAKER_02

She's such a rebel, even with the fucking dancing.

SPEAKER_00

I am a free spirit, I dance how I want to dance, and that's it.

SPEAKER_02

But we could make it at least a wobble. I'll make you wobble.

SPEAKER_00

I I do have a wobble. And like I could do it a little bit, but I do what I want to do, I do what I feel like doing. That's it.

SPEAKER_02

We're gonna teach that. But you know what? That's the fun part.

SPEAKER_00

Lisa doing the wobble.

SPEAKER_02

I think that's I think that should be.

SPEAKER_00

So then I feel stupid because I'm doing what I want to do, and everybody else is doing the same thing. And here is Lisa over there. It's like, what the fuck is she doing?

SPEAKER_02

You know what you remind me of? You know that that video of everyone like doing outdoor yoga or the outdoor exercising with the elastic band, and this woman comes like out of nowhere with a big glass of wine, that she's holding with two hands, she puts it down, takes down her panties, and she starts to do the exercising with them. You ever see that video? No, it's hysterical. She whole bunch of women, imagine the little elastic bands, and they're doing the little squats outside. She comes with a with a huge two hands, red wine, and she's like, Okay, and she puts down her glass, and she's in heels, takes down her panties and uses her panties that you have me going, that's me, until you said she was in heels. Because but she's doing it with the and it's just she's doing her wine. I was like, You go.

SPEAKER_00

But yeah, yeah. That is you, that is me. Except I'm like either barefoot or in like slippers or sneakers.

SPEAKER_02

But your pants would be down and you'd be doing the squats with your red wine.

SPEAKER_00

But yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

You were doing it your way.

SPEAKER_00

Never care to fit in, I guess. Just like this looks fun, but I'll do it my way. If it makes you feel better, okay.

SPEAKER_02

You know what's really funny? I can't dance at all. I can't dance. I did modern dance and I was really good at that. The choreographed dance, I was really good at that, but like dancing, can't dance, can't dance. And then I was always like, well, maybe Jay can dance. I mean, she can't dance, but look at her, she's Mary Jay. I was like, I also can't sing. I got shit going for me. I'm going to lose my black card. Someone send help. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Um, okay, I can't I can't sing, and I can't follow the choreograph dance. But you can dance, but I actually can dance, yeah. You can dance, yeah. She can dance. I I can't, I just can't follow the instructions. I follow the rhythm, not the instructions. Oh, so yeah. So I am does that help? I got I got a little bit going for me, I guess, but I still can't sing.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, I don't have anything going for me. Um not all black people have rhythm, okay? Leave me alone. I mean, I can cook. I mean, I got my I could put my foot in anything. So I so there you go. I am I am the fan. I am Auntie. I think I'm Madea. Oh, actually, I think I'm turning I bet actually I think I'm Medea. I am the fan.

SPEAKER_00

That might not be far too far from true.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

From Auntie to Medea. I'm like, yeah. Like, was I Whitney Houston and Soul Food? I was without the money though. Now I'm just the the grandmother. I'm kind of mad at her. She let too much get a like she let too many people get away with shit. But anyway, um, that's our show. Yeah. It wasn't for these tangents.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, we're hoping the next episode goes better. Love you guys, we promise. Well, most of these episodes are better, but I'm sorry. I'm in a shit mode.

SPEAKER_02

Honestly, this I think this is probably the one episode that we've done that was just like, uh, it's the end. Bye. Hi, bye. Drink, bye.

SPEAKER_00

Uh, yeah. Yeah. You good?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, and my battery's dying.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. All right. Well, uh, don't drink and drive. Text us or something. And uh until next time, I'm Lisa. And I'm Agnes. And we are getting the fuck out of here. See you later. Bye.
