SPEAKER_01

Hi, and welcome to this episode of Assassin's Sips. Today we are going to talk about Lost Season 5, Episode 6, 316. I'm Lisa.

SPEAKER_00

And I'm Agnes.

SPEAKER_01

What are you drinking today, Agnes?

SPEAKER_00

My tried and true Sassin Sips breakfast streak.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, what's that?

SPEAKER_00

Coffee with Kahlua.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. But I iced it today. Oh, you're fancy today.

SPEAKER_00

I know. So I've been putting like hot chocolate milks in the carafe, like have hot chocolate mix in the carafe. So when I brew it, it's like a chocolate coffee. And then I have, I know you can't drink it, but the pistachio creamer. And Kahlua. I keep a whole batch. Like I make the batch, let it get let it get cool, throw it in the refrigerator, so I have my iced coffee. Anytime I want it. What are you doing?

SPEAKER_01

I'm drinking, I'm just drinking some wine because it was easy. I opened and poured. I was done.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, listen, I know our recording days are different than our posting days, and I think most people know that. But today is kind of fitting, you know. It's, you know, an homage. An homage.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. It's Jesus juice early in the morning. Right. We're celebrating.

SPEAKER_00

And this is this is why he risen.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay. Now that we have offended all the Catholics.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, aren't we Catholic too? So I mean, it's okay.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know if they think so, but okay.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I'm gonna claim that as it's okay. I tell someone at work as I'm a double minority. I know that in itself is kind of like offensive, but hey, I'm a black woman. I could be as un PC as I want, and I'm gonna run with it.

SPEAKER_01

Any hot takes on the episode?

SPEAKER_00

I have a couple of questions, but I know they're gonna be answered in like later episodes. No, no, no, but I want to hear them. Um, what can possibly persuade her in a in 12 hours between the marina and the next morning, or that night actually, because she was at Jack's hotel, to say, okay, I'm gonna leave my son and go to this fucking godforsaken island. What's what the fuck compels you to but yin to say yun, yin, whatever. Son, yin, yun. Son. Thank you. I'm going to leave my child and find out.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I thought you were talking about okay.

SPEAKER_00

Both of them. Actually, both of them. It's Kate. Because there's no danger, because the danger, quote unquote, was then. So there's no need to run. So I'm like, what could have possibly happened? And then son, I'm leaving my I'm gonna leave my child to find my husband. I just don't get me wrong. Love my husband.

SPEAKER_01

I need to I feel like in in if you're gonna just talk about those two, I feel like it's well, no, but I'm just saying in in terms of Kate and Son, I feel like it's a little bit easier to guess why son, right? Like what her motivation, but but what could be Kate's?

SPEAKER_00

I get, but I understand son's motivation, but that motivation would not for me as a mother, would not over, would not like what's the word I'm looking for, you know what I'm saying? It does not supersede being there for my child. I can't, and I think my spouse will feel the same way. Unless it was a tried and true way I get my husband back off the island to my kid, which as you see, they left and had to come back anyway. I I just I I couldn't, I couldn't do it.

SPEAKER_01

All right, what are the questions?

SPEAKER_00

Um, just general, like, oh, what happened with Saeed? Why is he a prison right now? And then what changed Hurley's mind?

SPEAKER_01

Like just little nothing like well, not just what changed Hurley's mind, but also how did he know?

SPEAKER_00

How did he know? Because yeah, they're like, who brought you? Ben goes, well, who brought you here? I'm like, oh then Ben, but and I also thought it was cute how John is Christian's proxy, proxy, then Said is kind of Kate's proxy in that role. It's kind of it was cute how everyone kind of looks like yeah, yeah, recreate to the best of their ability. And then Faraday's okay, there's a whole bunch of shit that was like, okay, I get this is how they've this is this is them looking for the island. I get that, you know, I understand where the storyline's going, but I don't understand why the storyline had to go there at the same time, you know, little and Hurley's mom. Is she a scientist? Is she little oracle? I'm sorry, Daniel's mom.

SPEAKER_01

Daniel's mom.

SPEAKER_00

Is she a prophet? Is she an oracle? Is she like what the hell? How did she get involved with this? And why are you like a keeper in a church? From it's just a whole bunch of like little silly questions. You know what I mean? Yeah, how did this? I don't I don't get it. Um, back to season one confusion, but not as bad. Right. Pretty much, yeah. But that's it. That's my hot take. A whole bunch of questions that don't piss me off.

SPEAKER_01

All right, so I'm gonna try to do this in the way that the episode did it. Okay. The episode opens on Jack's eye, and it's very similar to the pilot. He's in the bamboo grove, he's dressed in a suit, and it all kind of mimics that same first scene. Except this time he's like, Oh, wait, I know where I'm at.

SPEAKER_00

One little question before I forget. It's the stupid question. Jack, okay, granted. Jack is escorting a body. Fine. Jack knows he's going, like he's pretty sure he's gonna end up back on the island. Why wear a suit?

SPEAKER_01

All of them, right?

SPEAKER_00

Like, where did Kate was prepared? Like, Kate, like, at least had like you know, comfortable lows. Like, you know, you're not gonna keep your stuff. She she was dressed comfortably. I'm bringing Mike, whatever, whatever. I'm gonna try to. Um, Sun, she was dressed up too, right?

SPEAKER_01

She was yeah, I think she was dressed up too. I mean, where were the hiking boots? Where were the sneakers?

SPEAKER_00

Where right, like you you're betting on being back deserted on an island. What the fuck are you thinking? Okay, that's it. I'm sorry. That bothered me the most out of the entire episode.

SPEAKER_01

Jack realizes that he's holding a torn piece of paper, and you can see the words, I wish. He hears Hurley crying for help, so he drops a note, runs through the jungle, and he's at the top of a waterfall, and he sees Hurley like in the water, like, help, help, you know. He dives into the water to help, but then like you know, they're just kind of like, okay, I'm good. And then they see Caitlin. But here's my question wouldn't he have like broken his neck, right, if the water was that shallow? I don't have a I mean I like he dove in head first, maybe that part of the lagoon. I mean, we're assigning logic, right?

SPEAKER_00

Like the same way they should have been wearing hiking clothes, but I I know how dare how dare we be like logical with stuff. But yeah, I did think of that, but I'm like, okay, we're just that portion.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know, yeah. So, but then the the three of them, Kat, uh Kate, Jack, and Hurley now realize that they have actually returned to the island. And then we get the uh, you know, what was it, 48 hours sooner?

SPEAKER_00

Yes, 46 hours. Don't ask me why I remember it was 46. 46? Yeah. The one time I remember a random number.

SPEAKER_01

We're in Los Angeles, and Eloise Hawking takes Jack, son, Ben, and Desmond into the basement of the church. She opens a blast door, revealing a room containing a map, the pendulum, and various computers. She says that this is the Dharma station called the lamp post. And it was through this station that they found the island. Jack asks if Ben knew it existed. Ben says no. And then he asks Eloise, and she's like, if he's lying, and she's like, probably.

SPEAKER_00

That maybe that was a chuckle. I was all chuckling as you're heading to the scene.

SPEAKER_01

Um, she explains that the lamppost was created years ago over a pocket of electromagnetic energy, which is connected to similar pockets around the world. The people who built it knew the island existed, but not where it was. The island is always moving, which is why the survivors of Flight 815 were never rescued. She explains that one of the men built the pendulum in order to predict where the island would appear in the future. Using those calculations, she has determined the position of a window to the island which will close in 36 hours. As she's explaining this, Jack examines calculations on a chalkboard and a large photograph of the island marked 9234. US Army OP264 top secret eyes only. And so actually, what's funny? No, that's not it, Stella. What's funny is that the photo is marked 92354. When they originally crashed on the island, it was 9204. So almost 50 years to the date, one day short of 50 years.

SPEAKER_00

Well, damn, okay, I didn't notice that. You're a genius.

SPEAKER_01

After hearing Eloise's talk, Desmond realizes that Jack intends to return to the island. Desmond delivers Daniel Faraday's message to Eloise warning her that Daniel and everybody on the island need her help. She tells Desmond the island isn't done with him. But he angrily recounts how following her past instructions cost him four years of his life. Desmond tells Jack that they are being used and that he is done with the island as he storms out of the room. Eloise hands Jack a binder containing lists of airline flights and their coordinates. Eloise then informs Jack that Ajira Airways flight 316 to Guam will pass over the island's location and that all of his friends must be on that flight. She then asks to see Jack alone and takes him to another room of the church, which appears to be her office. She gives him an envelope containing Locke's suicide note. She explains that Jack must recreate the crash of A15 as closely as possible, and Locke will act as a proxy for Christian Shepherd. So Jack needs to give Locke something belonging to his father. Jack is skeptical, but Eloise tells him that's why it's called a leap of faith.

SPEAKER_00

My other question was how does she know this? I don't put what to answer. Honestly, I I feel that this is one of those it would never be answered questions. Like you just gotta go with it. But I've accepted that. Kind of.

SPEAKER_01

In the main hall of the church, Jack approaches Ben, who is kneeling in a forward pew with his hands together up to his nose as though praying. He asks where son is, and Ben says that she left. He asks about lock in his coffin, and Ben tells him that he will pick it up on his way to the airport. As Ben walks to the vote of candles and lights one, both men ask each other about Eloise, but neither provides answers. Ben looks at the painting positioned above the candles, the incredulity of Saint Thomas by Carvaggio. Ben tells Jack about Thomas the Apostle, noting Thomas's claim to fain was not his bravery, but his doubt regarding the resurrection of Christ. Well, isn't that fitting?

SPEAKER_00

I this day.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we're recording on Easter Sunday.

SPEAKER_00

So yeah, there's that. And this was not planned at all.

SPEAKER_01

No, it wasn't. Jack asks if Thomas was ever convinced. Ben explains that Thomas needed to touch Christ's wounds to be convinced, and then says, We're all convinced sooner or later, Jack. Ben walks towards the door, and Jack asks where he's going, to which he replies, Oh, I made a promise to an old friend of mine. Just a loose end that needs tying up. Jack looks again at the painting. Later, while sitting in a barn next to a girl with a seemingly untouched drink in front of him, Jack receives a phone call from an assisted living facility. There, an official tells Jack that the resident in question attempted to run away and that if it happens again, they will have to transfer him to another facility. In a common room where a magician is performing, Jack greets an elderly man named Ray. Ray, who's revealed to be Jack's grandfather, had attempted to run away from his retirement home, going so far as to pack a suitcase. As Jack helps him unpack the suitcase, he notices a pair of black dress shoes. Ray explains that the shoes were among Christian's belongings, which Margot had sent to Ray following Christian's death. Jack asks to take the shoes, and Ray readily gives them to him. Jack returns home and as he starts to pour himself a drink, he hears a suspicious noise. Going into his bedroom, he finds Kate in the darkness, lying on his bed in tears. She asks if he is still planning on returning to the island and then offers to return with him. When Jack asks why she changed her mind and where Aaron is, she refuses to answer and makes him promise never to ask that question again if he wants her to come with him. And then they end up in bed. You never ask me that question. Right? Like it's not like oh we're gonna have a dinner.

SPEAKER_00

Like this is a kid that for all intended purposes has been your son for three years. The fuck?

SPEAKER_01

And and and my actual nephew. Right, hello. Like right. Right. Like this this is this is not your stuffed animal. This is a whole human being. Okay, Kate. The next morning, Jack prepares coffee and orange juice for Kate. She notices Christian shoes, and Jack explains why he had put the white tennis shoes on his father's body back in Sydney Sydney. Basically, that he wasn't worth a new pair of a good pair of shoes or something like that. Because who was gonna see his feet?

SPEAKER_00

I mean he's not wrong.

SPEAKER_01

When the phone rings, Kate leaves, telling Jack that she'll meet him at the airport. After she leaves, Jack answers the phone, and it's from Ben, who is drenched and bloodied, and he's calling from a payphone from the marina. He claims that he's been sidetracked and that Jack has to get Locke's body. Jack goes to the butcher shop to get the body in the freezer, and he opens up Locke's coffin and puts the he puts his dad's shoes on Locke's body and puts the note in Locke's pocket, claiming that he's heard everything you have to say. He also is like, oh, that like something something like if you could see me now you'd be laugh laughing your ass off or something. Yeah, he would. At the airport, Jack makes arrangements with the gate attendant for transporting Loc's body. While doing so, he sees Kate arrive, apparently trying to look discreet in sunglasses and with her head down. As he heads towards the gate, a man offers his condolences. He then runs into Sun, who says that if there's the slightest chance of Jin being alive, she needs to return to the island. As they head to gate 15, they see Saeed, apparently handcuffed and being accompanied by a woman, apparently a federal marshal. At the gate, Hurley appearing nervous or reluctant and carrying a guitar case, informs the Ajira employee that he has purchased all of the remaining 78 seats on the flight, but not why. Yeah, because she's like, she makes an announcement about the standby. And Hurley is like, nope, they're not available, they're mine. And she's like, but sir, why would you not want them to get to your destination? He's like, it doesn't matter why. They're my seats.

SPEAKER_00

My thing is, okay, yes, we know. Like he's trying to save as many people he could save. But if he's paid for them already, why do they even show up as being available? Oh, because no one's checked in for that. Because no one's checked in. Checked in for that. I just answered my question as the question rolled off my tongue. Right. Yeah. Okay. It's Sunday morning, people. Forgive me.

SPEAKER_01

Jack goes to Hurley and greets him, and he asks, How did he know? And Hurley responds, it doesn't matter. I'm here. As the flight is about to close its doors, Ben comes running up in the last minute with his boarding pass. His face is battered and his arm is in a sling. Hurley becomes agitated at Ben's presence, but Jack assures him that Ben is necessary. As Ben takes a seat, one of the flight attendants tells Jack that security had found something of his in the cargo hold and again hands him locked suicide note. When you were talking about how they're all like proxies on the original fight, remember Hurley was the one who like almost missed his flight and then got on last minute? I did not remember that.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

So Ben is like playing the Hurley role.

SPEAKER_00

And who's this new guy? That's another question. Who's this new guy?

SPEAKER_01

What new guy?

SPEAKER_00

I feel like he's gonna be a new guy. The fact that the one who said um oh the one who gave yeah, he's gonna be a new guy because there's no reason for them. Yeah, and then he's up front with them. He's a new guy in the show. I don't know how, but like who is he and why is he here? And that's that who sent you?

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Once the plane reaches 30,000 feet, the captain turns off the fastened seatbelt sign. Jack moves up a few rows and sits with Kate. He remarks how crazy this all is and how it's weird that they're all together again. And Kate says, We're on the same plane, Jack. That doesn't make us together. I don't know, you were together last night. But okay.

SPEAKER_00

Like Buddy buddies.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. The captain makes an announcement. Welcome to Ajira Air. This is your captain, Frank J. Lapitas. Kate and Jack look at each other stunned. And after a moment, Jack asks the flight attendant to tell Frank about his presence. A clean-shavk comes out and happily greets Jack, saying he picked up this gig about what was it, eight months ago? However, he then sees Hurley, Said, Son, Ben, and Kate. He he like one by one, he's like, Is that wait, is that? He's like, We're not going to Guam, are we?

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_00

Um, but then I'm like, I like Frank. Frank. I love Frank. Yeah. If he's the proxy, he's gonna die in the cockpit by a smug monster.

SPEAKER_01

Like I was like, remember, he was originally supposed to fly. Supposed to be there, flight A15. But I feel he was supposed to be the original pilot.

SPEAKER_00

So so question then. Okay, now that you bring that up, you reminded me, is it possible if he was there to begin with, he never would have died? Like, did the other one die because he wasn't supposed to be on the island? So does Frank survive? And there's so many other questions. So as we get to the end of the episode, dun dun dun dun.

SPEAKER_01

It becomes nighttime on the plane. Ben is reading Ulysses. Jack asks him how he can read, and Ben sarcastically answers, My mother taught me. We know that that's a lie anyway, but like But I love the response. Uh-huh. Um but then he says, but he could read because it's better than what Jack is doing, which is waiting for something to happen. Jack mentions Locke's suicide note, which he feels is following him, and Ben suggests that he read it. He says he'll give Jack privacy to read the letter in peace, and he moves towards the front of the plane. Jack then opens and reads the note, which simply says, Jack, I wish you had believed me, JL. When Jack finishes reading, the plane encounters turbulence. As everyone buckles up, the turbulence increases, and eventually the plane is engulfed in a flash of white light, identical to the flashes that accompany the abrupt changes in space-time on the island.

SPEAKER_00

And why is the stewardess running running around unbuckled, trying to put things back in the cab and the in the overhead bins? Everyone who flies knows when this when everyone has to be buckled, and then why isn't everyone buckled up to begin with? I either go around and tell everyone to buckle up. Everyone knows if you're seated, you must remain belted, buckled up. And she should have been in her little student seat, buckled up, not trying to get things back in the overhand.

SPEAKER_01

But there's like seven people on the plane.

SPEAKER_00

Well, that's the that was there was a back half, too. This is just the first class.

SPEAKER_01

No, but he remember Hurley bought out but there were still people in the back. Yeah, but not many.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I mean there were still some.

SPEAKER_01

There was still some. Well, because Hurley bought all the remaining seats. All the remaining seats. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But um, yeah, go ahead. I'm sorry.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_00

Random thoughts of it in the middle of the street.

SPEAKER_01

So now we go back to the island. They give you like just a brief little recap of the stuff that we saw in the first couple of minutes of the episode. Um, none of the three actually remember crashing, and they don't know where Ben, son, Saeed, or any of the other survivors or wreckages. Jack suggests that they split up in search, but before they can do anything, they hear music. The source is a Dharma van in what appears to be new and well-maintained condition, which emerges from the jungle and pulls up next to the lagoon. A man in a Dharma Initiative jumpsuit gets out and points a gun at the three survivors. Right? He pointed, he had a gun, yeah, like a rifle or some shit.

SPEAKER_00

A big gun.

SPEAKER_01

Hurley then recognizes him, and the man lowers his weapon. It's Jin. Not surprised. I but I feel like they had such a missed opportunity, right? Because when the scene happened, like you kind of see it from Jin's perspective. And I feel like once Jin saw them, he should have been like, dude.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, here's another question. Okay, so obviously Jin went back, and then you know, he they're flashing back and forth. He's been with Dharma for whatever, how many times, how however long, whatever. Not counting the years flashing, we don't know how long since the freighter. It's been what three years since the freighter blew up in this moment, right? It's probably like a second. He's like, Oh, oh shit, like right, last, like he doesn't expect to ever see these people again. And it's just like, wait, what? I've seen people that I've seen like a month ago, and I looked because they're somewhere I'm not expecting to see them, and I'm just like, huh? Oh shit, I know you, right? So, you know, so and this, I'm he's like, Yeah, I can't even imagine what's going on in his head and brain, and all the other shit.

SPEAKER_01

This is the first of only two episodes of the series to lack a secondary storyline.

SPEAKER_00

Thank God. I like the the stream, I like the streamlined storylines.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, but I'm not gonna tell you what the other one is. I don't care.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, because I'm not gonna remember anyway.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Like you can legit tell me, and when the episode comes out, I'm like, oh, this is cool. I didn't know that.

SPEAKER_01

You're like, uh the episode's title refers to the flight number of the plane that returns the Oceanic Six to the island. The episode aired on February 18th in the United States. On this day, on a non-leap year, there are exactly 316 days left in a year. Oh, that's cute. That's funny, right?

SPEAKER_00

Because that would that's actually, I mean, because I'm like, oh, was it March 16th? But I'm like, oh, this is this is just as good, too. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

This is also the first time that the sixth episode of a season is not centric to a female. Season one, House of the Rising Sun was sun-centric. Season two, Abandoned, Shannon, season three, I do, Kate, and season four, the other woman, Juliet.

SPEAKER_00

Interesting, very interesting. I am now twisting my moustache as I say that.

SPEAKER_01

So we got an eye shot in the beginning of the episode. Jack's eye, you know, like the pilot, whatever. And then when Jack returns home with his dad's shoes, he placed them on the table. This is a common superstition of bad luck, often thought to imply death is in the future. Said is in custody. Any ideas?

SPEAKER_00

Who knows?

SPEAKER_01

We don't know how Hurley knew.

SPEAKER_00

Well, Said did kill. I mean, why is he going to Guam? Because I'm like, well, he did kill those guys.

SPEAKER_01

But why is he going to kill Guam?

SPEAKER_00

Interesting. How did Hurley know? Why is Ben why did Ben get beat up? And what compelled a mother to leave her child? Both of those. I don't get it. I don't get it.

SPEAKER_01

Eloise Hawkins talked about the pockets of energy. And remember that's what the um the shaman that Rose had saw. Remember, like way back, and that's how Rose ended up in Australia because of her, right? And so and he was talking about the whole pockets of energy thing.

SPEAKER_00

Right, right. I remember it in general terms. I remember I don't remember what was said, but okay, that makes sense.

SPEAKER_01

But it's just it's just like another callback to that kind of theme. Okay. Cultural references, the chronicles of Narnia, the Dharma Initiative Station, the lamppost, is a reference to the lion, the witch in the wardrobe, and the magician's nephew, and the f the the first six books published in the Narnia series. In the books, a lamppost marks the passage between Narnia and the real world. In this episode, the lamppost serves a similar function with regard to the island. The Bible, John 3.16. For God loved the world. Yep.

SPEAKER_00

I know don't ask me why I remember John 3.16 through 17. I don't know why I remember those two passages.

SPEAKER_01

That whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John Locke's suicide note states that Jack should have believed. And Eloise told Jack to start believing. Ben told Jack that everyone believes sooner or later. Each of the oceanic six that boards the plane ultimately believes that the flight will return them to the island and does not perish during the crash. This verse is also hidden in the source code of Ajira Airways website. Okay. And then the Gospel of John. Ben tells Jack the story from the Gospel of John about St. Thomas the Apostle, who is not remembered by the incredible bravery he modeled when he insisted that the disciples should follow Jesus to Judea, even if it meant their deaths, which is John 11:16. But rather he is remembered by his doubt concerning the bodily resurrection of Christ, a doubt only mitigated by putting his hands in Jesus' wounds. I think that's pretty much it for this episode. I think so. Um the next episode is called The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham.

SPEAKER_00

We could find out what happened with Locke now. I'm assuming.

SPEAKER_01

You might want to keep your Ataban handy.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, I mean we know he hangs himself. I mean, supposedly. Allegedly.

SPEAKER_01

Allegedly. Okay. Alright, fine. What do you think was the loose end Ben had to tie up?

SPEAKER_00

Or or whatever got him all fucked up? I have absolutely no fucking idea. I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with getting Saeed and or Hurley on the plane.

SPEAKER_01

I think that's a fair, fair guess.

SPEAKER_00

Knowing him, who he probably set them up of something. Who knows? I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

And what do you think Kate did with Aaron?

SPEAKER_00

Fucking no idea. I'm like, maybe she left it with son's mom and daughter. I don't fucking know.

SPEAKER_01

Or maybe with a note around his chest and left him at a fire station.

SPEAKER_00

Or maybe with his grandmother. Claire's. I don't know, but I don't know what would persuade you to go. What reason does she have to leave? I uh it has to be good. It has to be fucking it's probably not good. It's probably just something stupid, and it just you just like you're a dumb bitch.

SPEAKER_01

Um you know, I slept with Jack last night. Let me go back to Sawyer.

SPEAKER_00

Well, she already decided to go when she slept with Jack.

SPEAKER_01

I'm I'm just fucking with you.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, because like because honestly, I wouldn't put that past her, I wouldn't put that past Kate if the timeline was a little bit different. I'm like, yep, that sounds like that's on brand.

SPEAKER_01

Or maybe she, you know, had already decided, so she slept with him, and then she's like, ha ha. Until tomorrow.

SPEAKER_00

And then by time, of course, this is three years later. I in my head, in my head, him and Juliet are like married, Sawyer and Juliet. So Sawyer goes, ha ha.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So Juliet and Kate are really gonna have a girl fight. Got it. My money's on Juliet. Well, of course. I mean, Kate's a badass, but Juliet, she's yeah, you don't fuck a normal.

SPEAKER_00

Kate doesn't have any, and I mean like hardness and like compassion. She doesn't have like uh heart. Like everything she did is because she kind of had to. I'm gonna sit here and wait. You know what I mean? You can have all this smoke. Um okay.

SPEAKER_01

I think you're delirious.

SPEAKER_00

I am donkey dokie. But you can't you gonna tell me you can't imagine Juliet just sitting in the chair like calm as fuck? Like bring it. Of course I can.

SPEAKER_01

That's that's like her whole MO and the whole category. Yeah, so it's like I don't take shit and what?

SPEAKER_00

I'm a little delusional, but I'm not wrong. Delirious, but not delusional. There you go.

SPEAKER_01

Anything else before we wrap this up?

SPEAKER_00

No, I think that's it.
