Um, so the first one was called The Watch. And wasn't there a show called The Watch? Anyhow. So it takes place um right before, like let's say the day of the day before um Jack's wedding to Sarah. And he's been his father comes to the beach and they have a little chit-chat, and he gives him a watch. He said, My father gave you this watch when I got married to your mother. This part was so funny to me. I'm gonna tell you at the end, I'm gonna tell you why. And um he said, I want you to remember that you're making the biggest mistake of your life. I was like, Oh fuck. So when Jack asked his father, well, what are you trying to tell me? He's like, Well, I'm saying that unlike me, you're doing the right thing. And I'm like, Whoa, he complimented Sarah and insulted his mother at the same time, the same sentence.

No, like and then Jack was like, Thanks, Dad. Like, what did you not just like from what I've gathered, his mother's a pretty decent woman?

He said that he never wore the watch because of it, because it was an insult for him, but he wants the I think going until he wants the watch to be something positive. Like, this is my chance of this making this watch something positive. And Jack wore it, and then like the first episode, we see him with the watch, watch, and but the funny thing is like he actually insulted his mother and he's like gee, thanks, Dad. Like, what I can't we want, I rewound it like a couple times to make sure I got that. I was like, Yeah, no, you're an asshole. I thought he was gonna say, like, like me, you made the right decision. Like, you know, right, he's like, like me, like unlike me, you make the right decision. I was like, Oh, damn.

Okay, so side side note, right? A little, a little something funny. When Alex and I got married, we eloped. Uh-huh. We went to Vegas. We didn't tell anyone we went to Vegas, and we came back married. And then we decided that we, I mean, we had been together for so many years, and we were just like, fuck it. And then we decided to plan a big wedding for the next year. So when we got back, we we it was important to us to tell our families in person. We didn't want to call on the phone and be like, hey, so by the way, so I went up to see my dad and my grandmother. And I remember telling my dad, and and he's like, Okay, well, you know, we have to go tell Welly. Okay, that's that's what I called my grandmother. Um, it was like in Spanish, um, Abuela is grandmother, but I don't know, I guess from when we were little and we couldn't say it, so it was always Welly.

So yeah, so um I remember going and sitting down with her, and me and Alex are telling her, and she just she was so pissed off. And she was like, How could you do that to your mother? Now, mind you, my my parents are divorced, they've been divorced for so many years, and she was and my father's sitting right there, and she's just like, How could you do that to your mother? And my father's like, mommy, it's okay, you know. And she's just like, Your mother is supposed to be at your wedding. How could you guys elope? And we were like, but you know, we're we're gonna have we're gonna have a church wedding, and and and my father's like, listen, I did it the right way. I ended up divorced, right? Maybe they're on to something, you know. And I just remember she was so pissed, she didn't even want to hear it from him. She was just like, she was so mad.

But that's I think of it not to tell anybody, no one knows, but you and Alex, and then they're like, Your wedding day, this too, like they don't have to know.

So Frogart, he's trying to hit it with Libby. He has his own little plans to get with Libby. But here's Hurley just taking his time, doing he thinks he thinks Hurley's just like I'm like, shoot your shot, move on so the rest of us get in get in play. By the way, I got a date with her. I'm on my way to her right now. Budaka. So I was like, yeah, Hurley, tell him off. The irony in this shit is that Fogart looks like he got stepped on by a Titan and left there to like live for the rest of his life looking like a stomped-out bug. I was like, you see, right?

Any thoughts on um Ars and crass ars and crass I'm calling Ars for now right now Ars is just crazy like you know that when he shows up you're gonna get a laugh at least he was kind of comical and I felt bad when it killed him but my you know my my temperament is not like it used to be when I was younger um what's the next one? Uh buried secrets buried secrets I was like okay I was like okay interesting but I don't know why what the point of it was if it makes sense I could have I could have not watched I couldn't live without that one.

Yeah so like my take is like Sun is burying her California driver's license that apparently was going to be like her new identity right and she's like burying it to hide it Michael finds her and then he's like here like he drops them take it back motherfucker I just buried that I like bury this shit but then she tells him about like Jin and like they have this moment where they almost kiss but then they get interrupted by Vincent and it's like uh okay I'm glad that moment was interrupted because I think I don't like him for anybody at this point. And um but I think there was so much speculation around them and what their relationship was in the first season that I think that that was the only purpose of that that they shared a moment but nothing happened so like all is well but that's how come they always felt awkward around each other.

The same muffins right I feel like the burning the muffins is the word I'm looking for like a sign like a bad omen yeah I feel like it's yeah a sign of what's happening I can't think in about two or three episodes I remember the word and I'm like oh that's the one I was thinking of um I hate when that happens oh god I can't stand it a metaphor is a metaphor I don't know I can't think of yeah maybe it's a metaphor life of the island um and she wants to show an envelope to Amelia and then possibly Amelia Earhart right right the fuck is the envelope about what's in the envelope what is it that was no that was um Ben's tumor okay I couldn't I just wasn't clicking I I don't know I I just feel like this was stupid this is the dumbest one it didn't make sense because what was what was the big secret because he told I think he everyone understood that no one could get cancer on the island I yeah but so it's like once he was operated on everybody saw him in a wheelchair I think before but this happened the envelope thing happened before he was operated on didn't it like oh yeah of course so everyone's like this is the I gotcha like he said no one can get cancer like what the fuck is going on here you know maybe yeah and of course yeah I just feel like that one didn't really have like a purpose a purpose yeah anything unless I missed it I don't know and the last one I couldn't watch the last one I try to reload the thing like several times and it just wouldn't play so I'm reading the thing so I'm reading the thing okay so I'll do it all right and I'm reading I'm like I don't remember this I I why don't I remember this I remember oh yeah it was it I couldn't get it to play okay the last one so it begins the last one oh can I read it okay it's because it's Vincent I think they had Vincent okay the last one is filmed from Vincent's perspective I love it and we see him like running through the jungle and Vincent meets Christian Shepherd and Christian tells him to go find my son and wake him up because he has work to do and then you see Vincent find Jack in the jungle and that is basically the first scene of the pilot episode. Right I remember that I was like oh right you know why so because they were in purgatory and odd souls definitely you're gonna take me out like a bull through the head I'm gonna take out this wall with my head you're gonna have me on my knees I like I like that they gave they gave Vincent one from his perspective I would have preferred like two or three from Vincent's perspective actually at least one was nice yeah it was nice I like that it tied it back up to the beginning by the beginning yeah I thought that was cute all in all I liked the missing pieces I did too I don't think that they gave us too much I think they filled in a few gaps and and just kind of gave us like oh look look you know like the warm fuzzies yeah but I'm glad I watched them I'm glad you made me watch it thank you well thank you I think that the best one was um king of the castle the one where Jack and Ben are playing chess okay and and Ben is like that he's he's not gonna stop him from getting off the island but never say never and all that you're you're gonna wish you you don't you don't want to come back yeah I think that that was the best one her only one made me smile even though she was being shot at the time the fact that he shut up I was like yeah and what Moco it's funny because there was 13 of them but we didn't see like I don't think we saw Kate we didn't really see like Charlie or Claire or we saw a lot of people that didn't make a difference anymore right I mean most of it was like Jack Ben Juliet and Michael yeah I feel like there's a reason for that and if there is you're not gonna tell me of course not so that is probably it for this thank you Lisa and thank you listeners for I don't know putting up with my voice oh I love your voice oh baby I listen to your voice every week and then again while I edit oh I don't know how you do it I was actually told I should be a phone sex operator.
