And Fake Lock is like, actually, that's a good thing because you're gonna need it to get through what's coming. He says that he's gonna leave, he's gonna be back in the morning. And while he's gone, they they get attacked by darts, and it's like pew, pew, pew, pew, one after the other. They're just like all shot down.

You see the people who sent the darts, they find Jin and they're like, Yep, this is the guy. Let's go. And they take him. When Fake Lock gets back to camp, he finds everyone unconscious. He finds Saeed, takes the dart out of his shoulder, and it's like, uh, what happened? Saeed's like, I don't know. We were dead. Like, duh. Right.

He tells Saeed that he's gonna take the outrigger. And he's like, uh, you a good swimmer? He's like, Okay, you swim. I'll I'll boat. No problem. Then he goes to Claire and wants to know if something is wrong, and she asks if her name is on the cave, the cave wall. He says it's not, but he still needs her, and that there's there's gonna be room on the plane for her, too. She says that when they get home, Aaron won't know her because he thinks Kate is his mother, and she wants to know if Kate's name is on the wall. Fake Lock says it's not anymore, but he still needs her because she can help influence the other people to implement his plan. You know, but then once he doesn't need her anymore, it's like whatever happens, happens.

Fake Lock and Said start to leave, and Soey wants to know what they're doing. Fake Lock says that they're going to go to the other island. Said is like, can't you just turn into smoke and fly?

Mm-hmm. And he's like, uh, yeah, if it was only that easy, I would have, you know, I would have done that. Once he gets to the other island, you see all the pylons stretched out, like lined up on the beach, and then shots fired at him. Good, I guess a good thing he can't be shot. And boom, it's like Timu Goonies back on the beach. It's like discount Tina Faye and discount Sean Aston. Okay. Woodmore comes to the fence and he wants to know if he knows who he is. And because he's like, Well, you're obviously not John Locke. But then everything else he knows is is a myth, uh, a combination of myths and ghost stories and noises in the night. Fake Lock points out that the sonar fence pylons are proof that Woodmore knows more than that. Widmore asks why he came, and Fake Lock says, because you took one of our people. And Woodmore's like, What? New beach, who this? I don't know. Meanwhile, Sawyer and Kate sit at the fire and she wants to know why he's not worried. But he's like, No, but I actually am. But he has a feeling that this is almost over, thinking that Woodmore has probably captured Fake Lock. But just then, Fake Lock comes back into camp alone. Sawyer's like, okay, where's Jin? And he says, Woodmore says he didn't have him, but I don't believe him. He asks whether he's lost Saeed too, noting uh he didn't come back. And Fake Lock says he sent Said on an errand and brings up the locked room on the sub, stating that he doesn't like secrets. At the beach, Miles and Frank are playing cards, because you know what else you do?

Right. Yeah, you don't have Coco, so what else are you gonna do? Ilana is cleaning her rifle, and Ben asks what they're waiting for. She says they're waiting for Richard to return, to which Ben replies that he would bet, given what Richard said about them all being in hell, that they'll never see him again. Ilana says Hurley will be back, and Miles is disparaging about Hurley's ability to track anyone not covered in bacon grease. But Ilana says Jacob has never lied to her, and therefore Richard knows what to do. She says she's convinced that Richard will come back, and until he does, they'll wait. Son walks off angrily instead of waiting. She goes to her garden, now overgrown, and Jack joins her and reflects on when she planted the garden. He says, It seems like a hundred years ago. She says she doesn't care about whether Richard comes back. And Jack tells her about Jacob's lighthouse and the list, but Sun says she doesn't care about being a candidate or their purpose or their destiny, and she just wants to be left alone. He leaves, she cries. Later, she's weeding and she cuts her finger on a leaf. The man in black, fake luck, startles her and she starts to back away. He says he's found Jin and that he was keeping his promise to reunite them, though it took longer than he expected. He tells her that he's with his people across the across the island, and he puts out his hand for her, but she says she doesn't believe him, that he killed the people at the temple. And he says those people were confused and lied to, and they could have come with him. You know, it's their fault I killed them, obviously. He says, I would never make right that that's exactly what he said. Like gaslighting that's finest. He says, I would never make you do anything against your will. Please, I'm asking you to come.

At the camp, Jack is looking after her wound, and Alana gives Ben a look and asks him why she won't believe him that someone's already unconscious when he found her, and she's like, because you're speaking. Speaking. Why do you think I'm lying? Because your mouth is open.

Jack says she has a concussion and that although she understands English, she can only speak Korean. So he diagnoses her with aphasia, which affects the language center of the brain. But the condition is usually only temporary. Just then Richard comes in, Alana smiles, and Richard says, Pack your shit, we're leaving. Jack wants to know where they're going. And Richard asks Ben where fake lock is, and Ben says, He's on Hydra Island. Richard checks with Frank, and it's like, yep, that's where the plane landed. He says they're gonna stop this man by destroying the plane. Son is like, hell fucking no. And she just she yells at him in Korean, and obviously he doesn't understand. Thankfully, we have subtitles, but doesn't everyone speak Korean?

I mean, she's like, the plane is the only way that they can get off the island. And it he's insane if if he thinks that like destroying their their only means of getting off the island, if that's the plan. And she says she came to get gin, not save the world, and I don't care if Alana thinks I'm important. Later that night, Sun is staring out to sea. Jack brings her some things and suggests that she try to write in English because sometimes aphasia only atta only uh affects the speaking, but not but not writing. He says he went back to the garden and while he was there, he found a tomato, a stubborn tomato that didn't know it was supposed to die. Have you ever grown tomatoes?

I have grown tomatoes. Tomatoes are one of the easiest things to grow because whatever now take this from somebody who has grown tomatoes in New York City. Concrete, okay? Garden beds, planters. When those when the tomatoes fall, some you know, at the end of the season, like if you don't pick them all off of the br of the the plant, they fall wherever. They grow in the fucking lines between the cement, cracks in the pavement. The tomatoes will grow. And I I I have seen it, not just at my at my old place, at my mom's house, like I can't tell you how many times she's like, Oh, here, you want this one? Because now it's too many. He goes to leave, and she's like, uh-uh, motherfucker, stun gun. She's like, uh, I'm sorry. You know, we went through a lot of trouble to bring you here, so you gotta fucking stay. She shows him a map, and the map has pockets of electromagnetism, and she wants to she says that whoever signed the map could help her out, and the shit the signature looks a lot like Jin Su Quan. She wants to know whether it is him, but he says he'll only speak to Charles Whidmore. She's like, oh, good, he wants to speak to you too. Widmore berates discount Tina Faye, aka Zoe, for making a move ahead of schedule, and she says that, well, then you should have hired a mercenary instead of a geophysicist.

While she leaves, Widmore apologizes to Jin and introduces himself, and he gives him a camera that he found in Sun's luggage from the plane. The camera contains shots of Ji Yun, which is his daughter. And we also see the doggy. Remember the dog, the puppy that he gave Sun in one of their flashbacks, the Chow Chow? Oh, right. And the dog, I mean, I don't know if it's actually the same dog, but it's supposed to be the same dog. And so the dog is in the pictures with the kid.

Widmore says he has a daughter too, and knows what it's like to be kept apart. He explains that being reunited with Son would be short-lived if that quote thing ever got off the island. He says everyone we know and love would simply cease to be. He says he's come to prevent that from happening, and Jin wants to know how he plans to do that. Her father gave it to him, and he doesn't question the father. I do what I'm told. That's also what the Nazis said. At the hotel, the desk clerk finds the booking for the room for Paik. And then he's like, Yep, here, you know, you got a nice room, ocean view, some shit, some bullshit, whatever. And Jin is like, no, no, no, two rooms, two rooms. And he's like, with his finger, he's like, not marry, not married. Obviously, that's more for us than for the hotel clerk. Right. Which is a huge turn of events because huge. And especially when you see them on the plane and Jin is telling her to button your button.

So they open the bathroom door and then boom, there's Jin, not really hiding so well. Like, didn't you kind of expect him to do like some mission impossible shit and be hanging from the ceiling ready to like kick a face in?

And then that's like the end of Saeed's part. Uh Mikhail comes in with Sun, he sees all the bodies, he asks Kimi who did this, but Kimi, you know, just yeah, he dies. But then from behind, Jin has a gun pointed at Mikal's head. He says, I know you didn't do this because if you did this, you have already shot me. They struggle. Mikhail gets off two shots before trying to attack Jin with the carving knife. But Jin shoots him twice. One hits him right in the eye, and the other one apparently hits Sun because the next thing we see is her on the ground crying, holding her abdomen as it is like all bloody, and as Jin picks her up, she says she's pregnant. These are flash sideways. I don't want to say something that I shouldn't say. So, what was your explanation for the flash sideways? Like, what what do they represent? Like, obviously, like flashbacks are what happened before they got to the island. The flash forwards, right, were like after they left the island. What do you make of the flash sideways? Like, how do they fit in the timeline?
