I'm actually only drinking water, but in spirit, I am drinking wine with you. I I was like I was saying on the pre-show, I was severely drained last week. Um, I'm a teacher, I had parent teacher conferences Friday night after work. I had conferences three days in a row, evening conferences. Don't live close enough to the school to go home and then come back. So I was doing like 13-hour days. Um, and then also just like having to deal with like eight-year-olds with drippy noses, and like I got one. I got a nine-year-old with yeah, so you can only imagine, but like I have 50 of them. So yeah, so it was it was a thing. And then Friday when I got back, like home, I was so severely dehydrated. I was thinking back on urgent care, and I'm like, no, I can't. Like, I couldn't remember the last time I drank water. I only drank coffee, I wasn't really eating anything because I didn't have lunch or like prep or anything. And I ended up having Jeff go out to CBS and get me like a couple bottles of pediolite. And I kind of just like drank a bottle of petiolite, took a shower, and then laid in bed, drank the other bottle of petiolite, and passed out. And then I woke up the next morning that was feeling okay and swore off coffee for a little bit. And so now I'm working on, I'm like day two working on no coffee. I still feel dehydrated, but not as much as Friday. And so I told myself, like, look, like Thanksgiving's coming up in just a couple of days, and I'll probably drink one over Thanksgiving. But in the meantime, like, no wine, nothing, just water. But I do feel delirious, so it uh it's as if I am tipsy recording this.

Well, you know, the last time that we recorded, because I was like not eating because of my mouth, but I had that one big glass of wine. Yes, I was like so drunk off of that one glass, yeah. And it and it wasn't because I had like I had just hadn't eaten that day, it was like the culmination of all those days without eating. Oh no, yeah, but look, it made for a cheap date, or or at least a cheap buzz, I guess, because afterwards I knocked the fuck out, and then in the morning I was like, oh my god.

Yeah, I was gonna say you probably had like the best sleep, but like the worst next day.

Yeah, I had a pretty bad headache, but whatever, it's over. But yeah, I have I have white wine today because switching it up. That's that's what I found, yeah. That's what I found, so that's what I'm drinking. Episode 10, the new person.

So we start off with this dude just sitting at the kitchen table going on and on about some like boring work shit, but like his intonation spot on. He was so into it, and his voice was just like very passionate about his bullshit mediocre job, passionate, bullshit mediocre order numbers and lamps that he was talking about, story of lamp, yeah, and like the fuck, yeah, and he was like, he's like, and then customer service got involved, and I told the customer service, and and in my head, I'm like, oh my god, like we know you're gonna die, just die already. Like, how are you gonna die? How's it gonna happen?

I thought I thought he was gonna choke on something because he didn't shut up.

That's what I was thinking too, as I'm re-watching it, because I kind of forgot this one, and so as he's going on and on about sweet nothing, um, his wife's making breakfast in the background. She's making like pancakes or bacon or some shit, and like a eggs, yeah. And um as he's talking, she just picks up the cast iron and smacks him in the head with it. Falls over, she sits down, she eats his food.

Right out of nowhere, it just and then it's like, okay, cool, now it's nice and quiet. I could have a nice breakfast.

Yeah, I think she said something like finally, or something like that.

Oh, she might have. Yeah, that I mean, I didn't see that coming, but that was good. I mean, it's not that he died necessarily. Oh no, no, no.

But no, this is with the timing of it and everything, just it was quite funny.

Yeah, so Jonathan Arthur Hanley, 1946 to 2001. It leads us right into David and Nate in the laboratory, and we find out that the wife told the cops that she killed him because he was boring, just straight up boring. And then we we more or less don't really hear anything else about him for the rest of the episode. But he was boring, because he yeah, so he doesn't even get a mention, but then the boys are talking to each other and worrying aloud if they're boring too, which I thought was funny because they're just kind of like, wait, are are we boring? But they also acknowledge that they need help since Rico is not there. David concedes, but um Nate is already kind of like yeah, I already have interviews lined up, like we're good. He's like, Because doesn't isn't this where Nate kind of insults his work where he says like the the reconstruction that it's not his strong suit? Yeah, okay, yeah.

And right after this, that's when we see like the roll call of the interviewees, and we finally after sorting through like all the very weird ones, we come to like a an okay, decent one. Her name's Angela. And after she leaves, David turns to Nate and says something like, Is it desperate if we just tell her that she's hired?

Yeah, he's like, wait an hour, but make sure she could start tomorrow.

Which was like kind of cute, kind of funny.

We see David, who's supposed to be vacuuming the the chapel. I feel like we never know what to call it, but um, he's supposed to be vacuuming that, and instead he's having this singing routine. But is it the fact that they hired someone? Is that what prompted it? Because it didn't it seemed like it was about men, yeah.

You know what with David, I just don't know anymore. Okay, yeah, no, I feel like David is just discovering who he is, and he's just being more open to the fact that he doesn't have to be so like tightly wound up, and now he's just doing things for literally no reason, but that's cut off by Billy's fancy art show, yes, and we see the fishers and we see the Cenowitzes at the art show, which is rare and strange because Nate's mom and Brenda's parents haven't met yet, but right, yeah, they are as different as different can be. Oh, totally, yeah, right. And this is oh no, no, it's okay, go ahead.

Oh, I was just gonna say Brenda's mom, well, Brenda and Billy's mom is drunk as fuck, and she is just acting all kinds of inappropriate with them, and Ruth shows up with Nikolai, and they're both kind of stiff. Um, so I think it's it's just funny how they're so different.

Yeah, and then Brenda's mom does something that I think I was referencing in our last episode by accident. Um, I don't know if you cut it out or not yet, but she noticed. Yeah, I think I was talking to you about it afterwards.

I maybe I didn't catch it. Oh no, it's fine. I think what happened was was that I was going to say something and then I didn't say it, and I told you about it afterwards, or I think I mentioned it, and then we both couldn't remember what I was talking about, we quickly moved on. So it wasn't anything that like I really drew attention to, but I remember last time thinking like, oh yeah, and Brenda's mom's being weird with Billy, thinking about this episode by accident. And so while like they're all looking at Billy's artwork and like this is like a fancy schmancy art show, like they're all wearing black, whatever. Um, Brenda's mom says some shit to Brenda, like, and I can't believe you get to have him all to yourself.

Like in my first you can't always have him all to yourself, but she said it in a sexual way, and it was really fucked up because it was right after she's whispering in Billy's ear. And it was just that seemed very inappropriate. I mean, we have no idea what she said, but her body language was was awkward.

And speaking of awkward body language, she continues to have extremely awkward body language with somebody who's reciprocating it. Uh, Dr. Gareth Weinberg.

Yeah, who just to fill you guys in if you didn't already know, he's the one who um the the doctor that wrote the book about Brenda. Yeah, Nathaniel and Isabel. He like helped publish it.

But I guess that that's that it seems like those are their alter egos.

Yeah, yeah, a hundred percent. But um, yeah, that's what I meant. Like he helped publish um Charlotte Light and Dark. He was like one of the main psychologists that was like on the panel for Brenda, like she just has like she she looks at him like a a disgusting pig, like scummine. Yeah, and yeah, and so after that interaction, um, we see Ruth walking around with Nikolai, and they notice something that Nick whoa, excuse me, um, that Nate noticed something with Brenda, um, which was the fact that Billy took a picture of Nate peeing on a wall in public and then like published it in his like art show.

Yeah, and the best part is that when Billy confronts him and he's he's asking Billy, what are you stalking me? And he's like, No, I saw you and I just followed you for a couple of miles.

She's so fucked up, just a couple of miles, it's yeah, and Brenda like defends him in that too. I forgot exactly what she said, but she was just like it was only a couple of miles.

I feel no, she says she says that's what Billy does, yeah.

Like in reference to like, oh, this is just his art, it's not his personality.

But I I felt a little bit for her in that moment because there was no right answer. She had a she was gonna have to pick a side and somebody was gonna get pissed, and I felt like that was her politician answer, but it still didn't work, yeah. But not the worst answer, I guess she could come up with in that situation.

Yeah, but it gets worse because then Ruth gets introduced to her parents, right? And her mom is drunk as fuck. Brenda calls her out on it, and the interaction is very strange, and and it doesn't last long either. Nate and Brenda end up back at Brenda's place, and she's just kind of distraught, Nate's distraught, and while Brenda's like smoking a joint, she's just confiding in Nate about when Billy tried to commit suicide when she was like 18, I think.

It was between her graduating college, graduating high school, and going to college. So yeah, she had to be about 18. Because Billy Nate asks if he if he's dangerous, and then that's when she says that he's really only a danger to himself, and then starts explaining, but I mean something new, like she's told this story before, just with less details, yeah.

And I forgot if she had mentioned it to Nate or to somebody else, but I know that Brenda has spoken about Billy's attempted suicide and the fact that her parents hid it from her, and that um yeah, it felt like something because of it.

And I just I didn't know if it was be you know, like from from watching this episode a couple of times, or if no, no, no, no.

It it was definitely mentioned in the previous episode, like maybe like six or five or four, like it could have been in the beginning, like when Billy was first introduced, and Nate was still like fresh and new in Brenda's life, and vice versa. I think maybe it was mentioned then.

Yeah, but then we see Claire and Gabe hanging out. Yeah, yeah, and this is when this is when Claire's at Gabe's place, and Gabe was talking about right watching Full House, and then Gabe talks about packing up toys to give to the boy next door, yeah. Like his brother.

His name was Tony, who's like the same name as his brother, right? Because wasn't the brother Anthony? Yes, and then the mother walks in and is like, What are you guys doing on a on a inside on a nice day? Um they just kind of ignore her, but then she gets pissed off when she realizes what they're doing with the toys, takes them, and then that's when they're like, Come on, let's get out of here. And Claire's like, Come on, I gotta show you something funny. And she takes them to see the picture. Yeah, so it's like last episode was the tale of the Fisher family traveling drugs, and this time it's the Fisher family traveling people to see Nate pissing on a wall.

Yeah, it's what it's like the glue in this episode, yeah, because they all take a turn. Just like the two pills of ecstasy in the bottle of aspirin was the glue last time. Yeah. And so after this, we get to see Angela's first day, which Angela is just out there loud and proud. Um, and specifically, I mean, just like her tits hanging out there loud and proud.

Even before they walk into the room, she's like, I'm gonna apologize in advance because I had calamari for dinner. Yeah, like OMG.

Okay, and they and she's telling me this, and they just like, what are you talking about? Yeah, and she's just like, Well, you know, like thank God for the formaldehyde. Yeah, the smell, yeah.

It's like, oh my gosh, like yeah, and she when by the time David walks in, I mean she has on like a halter top, and her her boobs are just it's like all cleavage, and it's she has her little weed necklace, yeah.

She's it's like the secondhand embarrassment was so bad, and I felt it like when I re-watched it again today, as she's as Angela's walking around with like her boobs out, talking about how tits aren't that big of a deal.

Like, she bends down, she had whale tail extremely they're just they're just nipples, we all have them, we've all touched them, we've all sucked on them. Like, what okay, that's a lot of assumptions, but okay.

That's a lot of assumptions, and that's a lot of things to say for somebody new on your first day to your basically to your boss, yeah. And Nate, and I'm sorry, and David just like had enough of this, walks away. She makes some comment about like how David's so like fucking annoying, like how we always say, and Nate just like chuckles about it, but like you could tell like Nate did an uncomfortable chuckle. Like, I'm laughing because I can't just like walk away either. But this just kind of sets the tone for our new buddy Angela.

Yeah, we go back to Billy and Brenda, and they're arguing. I don't know what her problem is. Billy and Brenda are arguing about Nate, and Brenda is telling him how he what oh shit, what did he say? What did she say? Like that he's communicating a problem. Oh she try she and then he like calls her out on her like psychobabble shit. Um but that basically he's creating a problem for her and him. But yeah, I I can't remember what she tells him.

But honestly, I can't remember either. I like just finished re-watching it, I can't remember.

No, but I know like she she calls him out because he's he's like I don't know if she said he was jealous, but but anyway, he was creating a problem, and Billy denies it, and then it's you know, it just the scene was quick, and then immediately after Billy and Brendan's interaction, um, we see David volunteering once again, and his good old trusty buddy shows back up in his funeral whore. Oh, yes, I keep forgetting her name Tracy Tracy. Yeah, and so Tracy's asking about his old church as well, actually, here's the thing, and here's what I thought was kind of funny. Um, David's just kind of like on break while he's volunteering, and he's like hanging out in the back of like a work van, but the work van doors are open, and he hears Tracy on the phone, or not on the phone, like um Yeah, no, she was on the phone. Okay, like she had like one of those like earpiece, yeah. And so she's talking like on the phone to somebody with her earpiece, and she's like checking off like names of like the people who are supposed to show up or whatever, and he hears her, takes a second to like prepare for their interaction, doesn't try to like run away or anything because he really could have escaped, like she had no clue that he was there, yeah, with the van doors open, and he calls her over, he goes, Tracy, is that you? And she is just so petrified of this interaction, yeah. And like she got her hair blonde, she cut it short, and like Yeah, he comments on her hair. Yeah, he's like, I love what you did with your hair, and she's like, Oh, thanks. And she tries to like quickly change the topic because it seems like she doesn't want to talk to him, and she asks about his old church, which was like the one that we just saw in the last couple episodes, that like progressive church, and she literally says to him, Oh, it's a progressive church, isn't it? And David's like, uh-huh, it is with like eyes and the the head and everything, as if he's trying to give her a message, and she's still not really receiving it.

But he's but and he's like, Oh, yeah, but only if only for a little while, so it's I don't know, mixed David messages as usual, yeah. But she tells him that they're gonna be volunteering. Volunteering at some point in the future. Yeah, she mentions that they're gonna be volunteering, and I think that piques his interest because you know Keith still goes to that church. So, you know.

Claire shows Gabe out and he apologizes. Oh, sorry, I said that completely wrong. Yeah, so she she takes him to see the art, and um, she's showing him out of like the art gallery, and he's like, they're they're still walking around the art gallery, actually. And he's like, and I'm sorry, and she's like, for what? Because it really came out of nowhere, and he's like, you know, for like everything, like I just got caught up with like the guys at school, and I didn't mean for it to like get blown up out of proportion, and like I'm just sorry, and she's so taken aback, Claire. And it was really genuine the way that game, yeah.

It it seemed pretty genuine, yeah.

And so it it seems like you know, going through that traumatic incident with his brother, um, losing his brother like that, is providing like a positive way for him to change his behaviors from now on. And um, yeah, it looks like Gabe's a changing person. It looks like he's becoming somebody that's just a little bit better for himself, Claire, for everybody else.

So back to Angeline, her one-hour orgasm that she's going on and on about. Um, she has like an earpiece on at work, like talking about shit on the phone to somebody about how she wants to have this one-hour orgasm, and that um it's only fair, right?

Because even someone can't have a one-hour orgasm, they get everything else. So she feels like this is a fair exchange.

Yeah. And like it was David, no, I'm sorry, it was Nate that was down there because, like, as Nate's telling her, like, hey, like David said that we're really not supposed to have like like David's expectation is that we don't take personal calls while we're working. She's like, Oh, okay, I'll do when David's around. And as Nate goes to like say something back to her, his phone rings, it's Brenda, he takes the personal call, he walks away and he starts talking to her about like how he's not upset about like the pissing thing. And so Angela, as we know of her so far, she loves to insert herself in situations that she's not supposed to be in. Um, she starts talking to Nate about his private conversation he was having on the phone. Yeah, and is like like she said some shit, like, oh, and I heard you talking about the pissing thing at first when my boyfriend wanted to piss on me, it wasn't that weird. But yeah, like, oh my god.

She's like, but that's just me, but I don't think it's weird. Like, yeah, um, lady, this is day one.

Yeah, the only thing that's pissing is her off. Like, I the the the delivery on that was so wrong. Wow. Okay, I'm just gonna shut up. Anyway, she's pissing Nate off. That's it.

Yeah, Nate Nate is just kind of like baffled and and just like um I'm over this. Is this no, this is not?

No, we go right next to um like the next scene is Ruth and Nikolai's interactions. So Nikolai at work the next day, like Ruth's like making an arrangement or trying to, because I feel like she's doing a half-ass job, and Nicolai is like, thank you, like for taking me out. And it's like it's literally the first time thank you ever came out of his mouth. And it's so weird because it just doesn't sound right, yeah. And and like he's trying to change for Ruth, which is kind of cute. He admits to liking spending time with Ruth, and our Ruthie girl gets assertive, and she like sets up a dinner date with him for the following night.

He's so cute because she's he says, like, thank you for taking me, and she goes, Oh, but I thought you hated that. He goes, No, it's not that I hated them, it's just that I don't like them, but I like you. Yeah, so I like spending time with you.

Yeah, and he was like, I like spending time outside work with you. Yeah, and she was like, So why don't we just get dinner tomorrow night? And he's like, Is it a date? And she's like, No, and he's like, I'll pick you up at eight. Yeah, it was so cute, yeah. So later on, um, we see Gabe at school and Gabe is standing next to his locker with like that dick that has the peanut peanut testicle. Andy, thank you. And he's standing there with Andy, and Claire approaches them, and they are just Andy and Claire bickering. Andy calls Claire Morticia, she calls him peanut testicle, and Gabe just like Gabe's just watching, and Andy just walks away. He's like, fuck both of you. He walks away. And so Claire was talking about like the next time her and Gabe could hang out, just like how they were, and she's being clingy clear. Yeah, and you could tell, like, she's just falling into the same pattern that she was falling into in the beginning of the season when she was all over Gabe, and he goes, Look, Claire, you don't have to keep taking care of me, right? Which was kind of like out of the ordinary from how we saw him in the last scene, but at the same time, I feel like that was like a normal reaction to the way that she was acting. I don't think he was wrong for saying that.

But Claire is like just so down about it, and like you could see like the expression, her face just falls, and he's like, Well, I have to go to my dad's this weekend, or I have to go to my dad's after school. That's what it is. He's like, I have to go to my dad's after school to ask for money for my mom, so like I can't hang out, and she's like, Well, you could just take me, and then like I could stay in some CD motel and like read a Stephen King book, and like she's just trying to like like make a fantasy out of just like trauma, which is just yeah, annoying at this point.

That there's something also to be said in the sense of like he was her first, and she probably has a little bit of an emotional attachment, and then he has this trauma, so she's trying to help him through, but but she's become more attached. And and again, she's supposed to be 16, so it's you're a kid, and you just it's it's hard to understand all these emotions, yeah.

But Gabe kind of ends the conversation. He's like, you know what? Like, I'll give you a call after school, and then we'll meet me by the gym, and she's like, Okay, like she got her way, she's okay. Yeah, so now we're stopping talking about Claire and Gabe for a second because in the next scene we see Dr. Gareth Feinberg um going to his office, like at a university, and he sees that his office is broken into because the door is like left ajar. Yes, the door is left ajar, and so which to me is a curb reference. I don't it's not a curb reference for you, but there's there's like the first episode, like a one of the newer seasons, like nine or ten. So fucking funny. Anyway, um, if anybody knows that episode, he broke up a marriage because the door was left ajar, anyway. Um so he sees that his office door is left ajar, and he goes inside and he sees that like his office is vandalized, like papers were thrown everywhere, and on on the wall in armed spray paint, it says Nathaniel Isabel, yeah, and so immediately we know like this is the work of Billy, like duh. Yeah, and so there's like two suspects, if Brenda or Billy, right? And Brenda's a little bit more sane not to do something like that from what we know of her so far, right?

Well, because also when when they were at the art show and he showed up, Billy yelled at his mom about like Brenda walked off when he kind of came into the picture, but Billy yelled at the mom and was like um something about Dr. Feinberg fucking Brenda over. Yeah, so yeah, yeah.

We also know it's Billy who did this because immediately cuts the Billy throwing papers in the pool in his parents' house.

Yeah, and um the mystery is not for long.

No, no, we see him like reading papers and then just like crumbling them up or just like throwing them in the pool, and you could see that they're like whole files and then just papers. While while Billy's in like this rage, um, you see his parents walking like through in the back, and they're like, Billy, what's wrong? Like being completely neutral with him in like such a like eerie type just almost like condescending way, yeah, like unsettling and condescending way, and so but he is a hundred percent rage at this point. Um, and he yells, like, don't fucking talk about me, like I'm not here, like and his parents are just like at work when it comes to talking to him, they're not being parents, they're just being like psychiatrists, psychologists, yeah. And Billy's enraged on Brenda's behalf, and he just goes off about saying how they really fucked up her life, right? And Billy gives a line to his parents that really, really affects his mom, or she's just acting like it affects her because I can't really get a read on her in the scene. And he said, You don't get to touch the children, yeah.

Cause he he was like, You you were the nurse, you kept them. You kept them like locked up in a way or something, yeah, and you don't get to touch the children, yeah. And I was like, What the fuck does that mean?

He was like, Fuck both of you. I hope you both die. You don't get to touch the children, and I had to like replay that immediately because I was like typing up notes while I was re-watching it, and then as soon as he says that line, like her mom just like drops to the ground, yeah, and her dad's like, I'm not entertaining this right and walks away. So I just I needed to hear what he said again. I turned on the captions and I was like, Whoa, that's a weird line, yeah. But she's uh like I forgot her name, but Brenda's and Billy's mom's just like very effective, like her eyes start like watering, and but the dad just like ditches both of them, he's like, Fuck you both, and walks away. And so now we're back in the laboratory, and we see Angela and David working side by side on bodies together, and Angela is just like purposely pissing David off with the fact that she's just existing. Um, she keeps saying the word sinewy in reference to one of the dead bodies next. She's like, What is sinewy next? Singue, singue is such a weird word. Would you agree sinewy? And David's like about to just like choke her to death, yeah, make her next sinewy, right? Yeah, and then it gets even worse because she starts talking to David about like sex, yeah. She's like, Oh, I'm just trying to figure out your type, and immediately follows that up with so what kind of guys do you like? Yeah, and then it's like, how would you know them into guys? Like, what makes you think them into guys? And she goes, Oh, please, let's not play this game, right? Right, and so it's getting to the point now. I feel like this is what David's thinking that like people can identify his sexuality by his mannerisms or whatever.

Um, if my parents were psychologists, psychiatrists, and they just tried to get rid of their problems by pushing people away. Um, they talk about sending Billy for intensive therapy out in Colorado. And then Brenda like collapsed back with, you want to give Billy shock therapy, which I thought was like Brenda being dramatic and like extreme, but then her parents just like yeah, the father's like, oh, but electro-convulsive therapy has come a long way. Yeah, they insinuate that that's their goal, like something like that. She's just like, she's so angry with them.

Uh goodbye, Claire.

But anyway, um, she wants to pour them both a glass of sherry in like her goblets that she got from her cousin. I in my head, I'm thinking like the cousin we met in like episode two.

And Nate's like, well, what's going on with her? What's going on with Billy? And she's like, I'm just too tired to talk about it. But then Brenda says some shit like I'm doing the best I can.

Let me in, with like a voice like that. And her mom has brought over spontaneous brunch. Brenda's like, you don't do spontaneous.

Um, which I'm going to take this as truth because, or and we should take this as truth, because we don't know anything else that happens after this, right? Like this is what we right.

And Brenda's like, well, Doy like told me that afterwards, and her mom's like, No, you don't understand. Like the summer that you were in Europe, Billy set the house on fire.

Yeah, and she was like, Oh, because remember that we had the house reads on, and it was because of that. But I mean, you could have just had the house reads on. I mean, that's all I'm saying. Like, Brenda wasn't there, and so the only person right now whose word we have, oh, it's bothering me that I can't remember her name, but yeah. Is is her. So it's like, okay, you know, keep this in our back pocket for later and see what happens with it.

Yeah, and Brenda's extremely distraught, tells her mom to get out of her house, calls her a lymphatic, and ends that scene by telling her mom, you have no idea what you've done to me. Um, as she's walking out, Nate's trying to call after her. But this is when David calls Nate and starts telling him, like, yeah, so I fired Angela, and uh one needs somebody else. What should we do? Should we call one of those other people who we interviewed? And then Nate's like, no, I got a plan. So we're gonna pause on Nate's plan for a second, and um, we go back to Claire. She walks back into schools the next day, and she's walking in the hallways, the same hallway that we saw her with Gabe and Andy the day before.

Well, it looks like Claire got an eerie feeling. That was the point of this. Getting back to Nate, Nate actually goes to talk to Rico, and Rico is not happy at Galardi.

And um, Nate actually like gets Rico to agree to come back on the stipulation that Rico gets paid the same. He has flexible hours so that's why he could like be there for his sons. And um, he tries to also say that he wants to become partner, but Nate says something that's perfect, and he's like, Well, you could become partner only if you marry Claire. Yes, and that's like Nate's way of pretty much saying, like, it's a family business, like, right, right. You're not part of the family, but you are like family, and Rigo doesn't even try to fight it. He's like, Okay, well, I don't officially work for you either, but I'm still gonna come back, but I don't officially work for you. Yeah, yeah, and and he's gonna start in a couple days. Yeah, so hopefully by the next episode we should see him, right?

And she's pretty much like touching on the the fragile vibe of the Fisher family, yeah. And she she ends her conversation with Ruth and she ends her time in the Fisher um household by saying something like, you know, this is the most depressing funeral home company that I've ever worked for, which was just weird. Like, oh and in that conversation, something really, really important happens.

Like, can I just get his dad's number so so I can call him and check up on like how he is? And the mom's really confused on top of just like still grieving her son and being most likely drunk. Um, because like she's she has a drinking problem now. Um, she's like, Gabe's dad's been dead for four, like since he was four years old.

Yeah, I mean, and and earlier in the episode, he makes he tells Claire how his mother won't even look at him. And in the scene where he's talking to Andy before Claire joins them, that Andy's trying to get him to go to a party. And when Gabe is like, no, I don't really feel up to him, he's like, fine, they don't want you there anyway. So it's like, you know, Gabe still, I'm sure, is beating himself up over what happened. But then, and not that Claire doesn't matter, right? But to have his mom not supporting him, to have his friend Andy, who's supposed to be his friend, kind of shitting on him. Like you you feel even more for him because at the end of the day, yeah, he we met him and he was a dick, but he's still a kid.
